Systems and methods for wireless energy transfer are described. A transmitter unit has a transmitter resonator with a coil that is coupled to a power supply to wirelessly transmit power to a receiver unit. A receiver unit has a receiver resonator with a coil coupled to a device load. The receiver unit can include a ferrite enclosure to prevent transmission of magnetic flux into electronics of the receiver unit, and can include ferrite fins to increase a coupling between the transmitter resonator and the receiver resonator.

A fluid resistant electrical connector for an implantable medical device includes a first connector assembly and a second connector assembly. The first connector assembly includes a first housing, an elongated coupling member, and first electrical contacts distributed around the coupling member. The second connector assembly includes a second housing, second electrical contacts, and a retention member. The second housing has a coupling member receptacle and a retention member receptacle. The coupling member receptacle is shaped to accommodate a distal portion of the coupling member. The retention member is partially accommodated by the retention member receptacle and movable between an insertion configuration accommodating coupling of the first and second connector assemblies and a retention configuration retaining the coupling member to prevent inadvertent uncoupling of the electrical connector.

Gastric stimulation devices, systems and methods are provided, particularly for stimulating a gastric organ having an internal cavity. Such devices and systems are typically implanted outside of the gastric organ while the environment of the internal cavity is probed and monitored by one or more sensors. The sensor information may be used to affect the stimulation signals provided to the gastric organ by the devices and systems. Such feedback integration assists in providing treatments and stimulation programs that are tailored to the needs of the individual patient.

An insulative sleeve has a first portion closely received within the feed-through aperture and closely receiving the intermediate portion of the feed-through member and has a second elongated portion extending externally from the housing and closely receiving at least a portion of the external portion of the conductor element, so that only a remaining portion of the conductor element is exposed, and is spaced apart from the housing by the length of the second elongated portion.

A surface mount component which can be mounted to a surface of a printed circuit board having a plurality of bonding pads connected to circuitry provided on the printed circuit board, which includes a puck having first and second wiring patterns, and a plurality of electrical connectors, a first set of electrical connectors being connected to the first wiring pattern, and a second set of the electrical connectors connected to the second wiring pattern. During the process of manufacturing a product which incorporates the printed circuit board, a production line worker can mount the puck to the surface of the printed circuit board in a selected one of a plurality of different possible positions, with at least selected ones of the first and second sets of electrical connectors being connected to respective ones of said bonding pads, to thereby achieve a selected one of a plurality of different selectable circuit configurations. A method for using the puck to achieve a selected one of a plurality of different selectable circuit configurations is also disclosed.
