A tamper resistant and theft resistant light assembly for a tractor trailer or other vehicle that can be easily installed on the vehicle but cannot be removed without being broken. The light assembly may have one or more flexible projection fingers that deform to allow the light assembly to be mounted on the vehicle body plate by pushing the light assembly into an opening therein, but prevent the light assembly from being removed from the opening. The light assembly has a mounting ring that breaks away from the light assembly if an attempt is made to pry the light assembly out of the opening.

An apparatus including a light-emitting device configured to illuminate blood is described. The light-emitting device may include a red light source configured to emit red light. The light-emitting device may also include a green light source configured to emit green light. The light-emitting device may additionally include a first refractive lens and a reflector having a concave surface to reflect a portion of red light emitted by the red light source and a portion of green light emitted by the green light source toward the first refractive lens. The first refractive lens may be configured to direct red light emitted by the red light source to form a red light beam and to direct green light emitted by the green light source to form a green light beam. Additionally, the light-emitting device may include an optical adjuster configured to adjust a separation distance between the first refractive lens and at least one of the green light source and the red light source. The optical adjuster may further be configured to move the first refractive lens with respect to at least one of the red light source and the green light source. A method for illuminating blood is additionally disclosed.

An apparatus comprising a light-emitting device configured to illuminate blood. The light-emitting device may comprise a green light source configured to emit green light. The light-emitting device may also comprise a red light source configured to emit red light. The green and red light sources may be configured such that at least a portion of the green light and at least a portion of the red light combine to form a combined light area. The combined light area may cause a red color to be perceived as standing out in contrast to non-red colors. A filter device configured to transmit a light spectrum optimized to track blood is disclosed. The filter device may comprise a notch filter. A flashlight adaptor for illuminating blood is also disclosed. A method for illuminating blood is further disclosed.

A light beam location adjustment device. The device includes a bulb and a bulb holder and a pivot mount. A reflector is directly attached to the pivot mount. A first pivot mechanism is provided to pivot the pivot mount about a first axis. The first pivot mechanism includes a hinge at the first axis with the pivot mechanism moved by a first adjustment pin. A second pivot mechanism is provided to pivot the pivot mount about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis. The second pivot mechanism includes a pivot connected to the pivot mount which will rotate the pivot mount in response to movement of the pivot.
