According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor that may receive an environmental condition detected at an electronic device and may determine whether the received environmental condition is outside of a predefined threshold range for the electronic device. The processor may, based on a determination that the received environmental condition is outside of the predefined threshold range for the electronic device, generate a notification item in a configuration page of the electronic device indicating that the electronic device has operated in an environmental condition that is outside of the predefined threshold range for the electronic device. The processor may also store the generated notification item in the configuration page of the electronic device, in which a service agent of the electronic device is to access the notification item in the configuration page stored in the electronic device.

A printing device includes an input tray in which sheets of media are loadable and a media guide movably adjustable along a dimension of the input tray and positionable against the sheets. The printing device includes a drive conductor electrically exposed parallel to the dimension of the input tray, detect conductors differently electrically exposed parallel to the dimension of the input tray, and a cross-conductor disposed on the media guide. The cross-conductor selectively electrically connects the drive conductor with the detect conductors according to a current media guide position to permit detection of the current media guide position.

An example of a device () may include a valve body (). The device may include a printing substance transfer window () through the valve body (). The device () may include a printing substance dispensing nozzle () rotatable within the valve body () between a first orientation with an orifice of the printing substance dispensing nozzle () facing an internal face of the valve body () and a second orientation with the orifice () of the printing substance dispensing nozzle () facing the printing substance transfer window (). The device () may include a dispensing-side gasket material () slideable against the internal face of the valve body () when rotating the printing substance dispensing nozzle () between the first orientation and the second orientation.

In some examples, an apparatus can include a syringe body including an electrical interface at a side surface of the syringe body, an interface at an end of the syringe body including an output at a distal surface of the syringe body, a print material particles reservoir located in the syringe body, and a structure to adapt a volume of the print material particles reservoir to move print material particles out of the print material particles reservoir through the output, where in response to the volume adapting structure moving from a first position to a second position, a signal is transmitted by the electrical interface.

An example print material replenishment device includes a container to contain print material, a dispensing end to engage a fill port of a printing device, the dispensing end including an opening that is offset from a center axis of the container, and a rotatable cover coupled to the dispensing end, the rotatable cover to expose the opening of the dispensing end based on a rotation of the print material replenishment device.

Examples disclosed herein relate to identifying an amount of remaining supply of a print material, selecting one of a plurality of threshold ranges associated with the amount of remaining print material, and updating a visual indicator indicative of the selected one of the plurality of threshold ranges.

An example device can include a reserve print materials container, an access port coupled to the reserve print materials container to receive, from a replenishment device, print materials directly to the reserve print materials container in-situ, and a main print materials container coupled to the reserve print materials container to receive print materials from the reserve print materials container.

In some examples, a print materials container can include a dispense mechanism to dispense print materials directly to an in-situ reservoir of a printing device, a lock feature to engage a fill port during connection of the dispense mechanism to the fill port, and a valve integrated with the dispense mechanism for connecting the dispense mechanism to the fill port of the reservoir and comprising an output opening offset from a center axis of a tip of the dispense mechanism. The valve can open responsive to rotation of the valve opening with respect to the lock feature such that opposite openings align.

An iconographic control panel of an image forming apparatus is provided. The iconographic control panel includes a plurality of physical iconographic control buttons respectively corresponding to a plurality of functions of the image forming apparatus, each of the plurality of physical iconographic control buttons comprising at least one dedicated light emitting diode, and at least one processor to determine an availability of the plurality of functions of the image forming apparatus respectively corresponding to each of the plurality of physical iconographic control buttons, determine a functional state of the plurality of functions of the image forming apparatus determined to be available, and control an illumination of the at least one LED of each of the plurality of physical iconographic control buttons based on the availability of each function corresponding to each of the plurality of physical iconographic control buttons and the functional state of each function determined to be available.

An electronic device is detected as no longer being connected to a first wireless network via which the electronic device had network connectivity. Over a wireless sideband communication channel, a host computing device subsequently communicates to the electronic device network credentials for a second wireless network that is accessible by the electronic device and for which the host computing device has the network credentials. The electronic device responsively connects to the second wireless network using the network credentials communicated from the host computing device. The electronic device then has the network connectivity via the second wireless network.

An example device capable of predicting print substance end-of-life (EOL) comprises a container to hold a print substance, the container comprising a refill port through which print substance is to be introduced into the container. The example device also comprises a processor to receive signals indicative of an amount of print substance introduced via the refill port. The processor is also to predict a print substance end-of-life (EOL) based on the amount of print substance introduced.

In some examples, an apparatus can include a print substance gauge to indicate a quantity of print particles an imaging device is capable of receiving at a particular time, and an authentication mechanism coupled to a locking mechanism, the authentication mechanism includes instructions to: determine a quantity of print particles within a print particle container, and unlock the locking mechanism when the print substance gauge indicates that the imagining device is capable of receiving the quantity of print particles within the print particle container.

Examples disclosed herein relate to unlocking consumables of imaging devices. Example imaging devices include a lock to secure a consumable to the imaging device. A feedback engine of the imaging device may selectively generate a signal in response to an actuation event to control a component to indicate the consumable is secured. A lock control engine of the imaging device may determine if the actuation event is approved to unlock the consumable. A release engine of the imaging device may disengage the lock in response to approval of the actuation event.

Unlocking consumables

An image forming apparatus and method for determining a toner level and providing a notification are provided. The method of operating an image forming apparatus includes counting a number of times a lower toner hopper receives toner from an in-situ refillable upper toner hopper, calculating an estimate of toner volume transferred from the lower toner hopper to a surface of a photosensitive drum, determining an amount of toner consumed from the in-situ refillable upper toner hopper based on the number of times the lower toner hopper receives toner from the in-situ refillable upper toner hopper and the estimate of toner volume transferred from the lower toner hopper to the surface of the photosensitive drum, and generating an upper toner hopper refill notification when the amount of toner consumed from the in-situ refillable upper toner hopper is determined to exceed a threshold value.

An example system includes a client interface to receive a print job from a client device, wherein the print job includes a user identifier (UID) and a current user location. The example system further includes a controller having an adaptive caching portion to determine that the current user location is a new user location for the UID, identify at least one printer identifier (PID) associated with the new user location, and associate the UID with the new user location and the at least one PID. The system further includes a printer interface to adaptively cache the print job in its entirety at least at one printer corresponding to the at least one PID.
