A digital imaging device detects or tracks a user's direction of gaze. The detected direction of gaze may be used to set one or more functions in the digital imaging device, and the history of the user's direction of gaze may be stored with a captured digital image for later use by an automatic image post-processing apparatus.

Accurate preview for digital cameras

A modeless electronic imaging apparatus, such as a digital still camera, uses a touch-sensitive shutter button to automatically display 'live' images from an image sensor whenever a user touches the shutter button. When the user is not touching the shutter button, the apparatus displays stored image data of the last stored image, or may display menu data according to actuation of system navigation buttons. The apparatus does not require the switching of modes between image capture mode and stored image display mode, but is always capable of image capture as well as stored image display.

Modeless digital still camera using touch-sensitive shutter button

A mouse yoke assembly for interfacing with a computer through the sensing mechanism of a mouse including a housing and a control member movably supported by the housing. The housing is adapted to support a mouse thereon and relative to the control member such that movement of the control member is sensed by the sensing mechanism of the mouse. The assembly includes a clamp member for removably mounting the housing to a support structure to immobilize the housing as the control member is moved relative to the housing.
