A load guiding arrangement realized for mounting to a crane, which load guiding arrangement comprises a number of load guides, wherein a load guide comprises a guide wire extending from a lower level of the crane to an upper level of the crane; a bridging connector realized to bridge a gap between the guide wire and a control wire, which bridging connector is free to travel along the guide wire and the control wire according to a vertical displacement of a load; and a control wire extending from a lower level of the crane, through the bridging connector to a lifting connector for connecting to the load, and through the bridging connector again to an upper level of the crane is provided.

Load guiding arrangement

Provided is an automated receptor system of a sling-receiving element for gripping a connection device of a sling of a blade gripping device for gripping a rotor blade, in particular a rotor blade of a wind turbine, which automated receptor system includes a receptor for connecting the connection device to the sling-receiving element and a drive system for pivoting the receptor for coupling the connection device to the sling-receiving element and for decoupling the connection device from the sling-receiving element. Further a sling-receiving element and a blade gripping device are described. Furthermore, provided is a method for gripping a connection device of a sling of a blade gripping device for gripping a rotor blade, in particular a rotor blade of a wind turbine.

Automated receptor system

A load guiding arrangement realized for mounting to a crane, which load guiding arrangement comprises a number of load guides, wherein a load guide comprises a guide wire extending from a lower level of the crane to an upper level of the crane; a bridging connector realized to bridge a gap between the guide wire and a control wire, which bridging connector is free to travel along the guide wire and the control wire according to a vertical displacement of a load; and a control wire extending from a lower level of the crane, through the bridging connector to a lifting connector for connecting to the load (), and through the bridging connector again to an upper level of the crane is provided.

A raising device realized to be connected to a tower segment of a wind turbine is provided. The raising device comprises a connection member to a raising machine and a plurality of holding members positioned at predefined distances from each other and orientated to be movable in radial locking directions which locking directions are such that the holding members when moved into a locking position at a predefined engagement position of the tower segment engage with a counter-shape of the tower segment, whereby the holding members are automatically tiltable and/or shiftable into the locking position by a movement mechanism. A method of equipping a tower segment of a wind turbine for transport by means of such raising device is also provided.

Raising device configured to be connected to a tower segment

An arrangement and a method to align a part of a wind turbine to a counterpart is provided. The arrangement includes an alignment tool. The alignment tool includes a first area to be connected to a part of the wind turbine, and a second area that protrudes over the physical dimensions of the part of the wind turbine. The second area is arranged and prepared in a way that it abuts on the counterpart during the alignment of the part of the wind turbine and its counterpart. The arrangement includes a second alignment tool. The second alignment tool protrudes less far over the physical dimensions of the part of the wind turbine then the first alignment tool. Thus the first alignment tool abuts to the counterpart before the second alignment tool when the part of the wind turbine approaches the counterpart.

Arrangement to align a part of a wind turbine

A strake for a wind turbine tower is provided A strake for a wind turbine tower is disclosed, whereby the strake is realized as a detachable strake to be mounted to a wind turbine tower to reduce vortex induced vibrations. The strake includes an outer structure and the outer structure defines three sides that are interconnected by three angles, so that the strake includes a mainly triangular shape in its cross-cut perpendicular to its longitudinal direction. The strake includes at least one element that includes a contiguous cavity that is filled with a fluid.

Strake for a wind turbine tower

The disclosed concerns a method of transporting a tower of a wind turbine in an upright position to an assembly site of the wind turbine, whereby the tower is equipped with a strake set comprising a number of strakes positioned to lead from a top of the tower in the upright position down towards a bottom of the tower, at least one of the strakes being realized as a detachable strake. The invention also concerns a strake set and transport assembly.

A blade tip clamp arrangement configured to support a wind turbine rotor blade, including at least a tip clamp assembly configured to hold the rotor blade along an airfoil portion of the rotor blade, and a pivot connection interface configured to pivotably connect the tip clamp assembly to a wheeled transport means, is provided. A rotor blade transport and storage arrangement configured for the storage and transport of a wind turbine rotor blade, and a method of handling a wind turbine rotor blade during transport and storage is also provided.

Blade tip clamp arrangement

A blade gripping device for gripping a rotor blade of a wind turbine is provided. The device comprises a first frame which is essentially horizontally aligned in a designated operating position and a second frame which is essentially horizontally aligned in the designated operating position and a blade gripping assembly with a number of blade gripping tools. Thereby, the first frame and the second frame are connected to each other via a swivel or other similar type connection, the connection realized to permit a yawing movement of the second frame relative to the first frame. The first frame comprises a rectangular carrying structure with at least four connectors for connection to a lifting device, which connectors are positioned essentially at the corners of the rectangular structure. Further, the invention concerns a method of operating a blade gripping device for gripping a rotor blade of a wind turbine.

A blade gripping device for gripping a rotor blade, in particular a rotor blade of a wind turbine, comprising a blade gripping assembly with a number of blade gripping tools and a sensor arrangement realized to sense a specific feature of the rotor blade is provided. Thereby, the specific feature is such that it can orientate the blade holding device relative to the rotor blade in a blade gripping maneuver. A method of moving a blade gripping device for gripping a rotor blade is also disclosed, in particular a rotor blade of a wind turbine, relative to the rotor blade is disclosed.

Blade gripping device

A blade gripping tool of a blade gripping device for gripping a rotor blade, in particular a rotor blade of a wind turbine is provided. The tool comprises a sling and an automatic sling handover mechanism comprising a sling-conveying element and a sling-receiving element, whereby the sling-conveying element is realized to convey a connection means of the sling along a two-dimensional predefined path of travel around a part of the rotor blade towards the sling-receiving element to connect to a receptor of the sling-receiving element. A method of gripping a rotor blade is also disclosed, in particular a rotor blade of a wind turbine by means of a number of blade gripping tools is also disclosed.
