A system and method are presented relating to a hybrid portable charging device having an internal battery and an internal supercapacitor. Input logic is implemented as part of the management system for the charging device. In one embodiment, input power is analyzed to determine whether the input power level is low, medium, or high, with input power being diverted to the battery or supercapacitor depending on the determined input power level. At high input power, the supercapacitor is charged first. At low input power, the battery is charged first. At medium power, the input power is split between the supercapacitor and the battery. In another embodiment, output can be directed using output logic so that power flows first from the supercapacitor so that the supercapacitor is fully discharged before battery power is output to the load on the charging device.

Supplemental capacitor based battery charging system

A DC power supply extension cable system includes a cord, a plurality of first barrel connectors and a plurality of second barrel connectors. The cord has a first end and a second end. The first end defines a first interface configured for the engagement of one of any of the first barrel connectors, and the second end likewise defines a second interface configured for the engagement of one of any of the second barrel connectors. The first interface is different than the second interface. Each of the first barrel connectors has a receiving opening therein and a first engagement mechanism configured to be accepted by only the first interface. Whereas each of the second barrel connectors has an external plug extending therefrom, and a second engagement mechanism configured to be accepted by only the second interface.

Universal DC power supply extension cable system

The present disclosure is directed to a subwoofer speaker assembly that has a housing which is convertible between a compact volume mode and an expanded volume mode. The speaker assembly includes at least one driver contained within the housing. The housing itself comprises an internal frame and an external shell, moveable relative to the internal frame. The internal frame and the external shell defining an interior volume of the housing, in the compact mode the internal volume is a first volume, in the expanded mode the internal volume is a second volume, wherein the second volume is greater than the first volume. Positioned between the overlapping and parallel walls of the internal frame and the external shell is at least one sealing member which provides an airtight seal between the internal frame and the external shell.

Self-sealing expandable subwoofer

Devices and methods disclosed herein can include an accessory mount having a first clamp and a second clamp each configured to grip an elongate member. The first clamp and the second clamp can include an open configuration and a clamped configuration. In the open configuration, a respective first end is disengaged from a respective second end for receiving the elongate member. In the clamped configuration, the first end and the second end are moved to grip the elongate member. A first portion of the elongate bridge can be coupled to the first clamp and a second portion of the elongate bridge can be coupled to the second clamp. An accessory interface can be coupled to the elongate bridge. The accessory can be positionable along the elongate bridge for alignment along the longitudinal direction of the elongate member.

Accessory mount

A mount for joining a base object to an ancillary object is provided. The mount includes a top layer, a bottom layer, a key, a lock and a collar. The top layer is engaged to the ancillary object and the key extends therefrom. The bottom layer is engaged to the base object. The lock is a recess defined by the bottom layer and has a shape complimentary to that of the key such that the lock and key are mechanically and removeably engaged to one another. The collar extends from a top end to a bottom end. The top end is fixedly engaged to the top layer and the bottom end is fixedly engaged to the bottom layer. The collar is disposed about the lock and the key. The mount may be configured for electrical and mechanical communication and may include an interface for communication with a camera hot shoe.

Mounting system with break away interface

A multi-mode microphone assembly includes a mono microphone, a stereo microphone, and a rotary switch contained within a housing. The mono microphone has a mono input/output mode and the stereo microphone has a stereo input/output mode. Only one input/output mode is active depending on the position of the rotary switch within the housing. When the rotary switch is in a first position only the mono input/output mode is activated and when the rotary switch is in a second position the mono input/output mode is deactivated and the stereo input/output mode is activated. The first position of the rotary switch corresponds to a first position of the housing. The second position of the rotary switch corresponds to a second position of the housing. The first and second positions of the housing are offset 180 degrees from one another.

Multi-mode microphone

Devices and methods disclosed here can include a floating action camera mount. The floating action camera mount can include a vessel having an exterior surface. The vessel can be floatable in a liquid. A camera mount can be coupled to the exterior surface of the vessel for attaching an action camera to the floating action camera mount. At least one positioning weight can be coupled along the vessel. For instance, the positioning weight can be adjustably positionable along the exterior surface of the vessel between a first weight location and a second weight location. In the first weight location, the vessel, and correspondingly the camera mount, can be positioned in a first orientation with respect to a surface of the liquid. In the second weight location, the vessel, and correspondingly the camera mount, can be positioned in a second orientation with respect to the surface of the liquid.

Floating action camera mount

Devices and methods disclosed here can include a foot mount, such as an action camera foot mount. The action camera foot mount can include a harness having a toe loop and an ankle loop. The harness can include an elastic material and can be in tension between the toe loop and the ankle loop. The toe loop can encircle a toe of the user and the ankle loop can encircle an ankle of the user to secure the harness to the foot of the user. In an example, at least one midportion can be disposed between the toe loop and the ankle loop of the harness. A base member can be coupled to the harness and the base member can include a camera mount for attaching an action camera to the harness. In an example, the base member can be slidably coupled along the midportion.
