A thermally loaded component has at least one cooling passage for the flow of a cooling fluid passing through it. In the region of a bend, at least one diverter device for the integral capturing of the flow of the cooling fluid is provided within the cooling passage. The diverter device comprises, over the height of the cooling passage, two diverter parts which are spaced apart from one another. The diverter maybe cast with a notch therein so that during cooling, the diverter breaks into separated portions proximate the notch.

Thermally loaded component

A hot-gas stream (,) flows along the surface of a segment arrangement for shroud bands, in particular in a gas turbine. The segment arrangement comprises segments (,&prime;) arranged next to one another and in each case separated from one another by a gap (,). Cooling arrangement for gas-turbine components

Platform cooling having a guide-blade platform (30; 60) which is subjected to a hot-gas stream (20) and is separated by a gap (36; 66) from a combustion-chamber segment (40; 70) arranged upstream, one or more segment cooling bores (42; 72) being made in the combustion-chamber segment (40; 70), which segment cooling bores (42; 72) connect a cooling-air chamber (44; 74) to the gap (36; 66). The guide-blade platform (30; 60) has a surface (34; 64) on the downstream side in the region of the gap (36; 66), the axes of the one or more segment cooling bores (42; 72) running roughly tangentially to said surface (34; 64).

Platform cooling for gas turbines

A coolable blade (10) essentially comprises a blade root (11) and a blade body (1), which is composed of a pressure-side wall (6) and a suction-side wall (5). They are connected to one another essentially via a trailing-edge region (4) and a leading-edge region (3) in such a way that at least one hollow space (2) used as a cooling-fluid passage is formed. An essentially radially running, diverging cooling passage (7) is arranged in the trailing-edge region (4).

Coolable blade

A coolable blade (10) essentially comprises a blade root (11) and a blade body (1), which is composed of a pressure-side wall (6) and a suction-side wall (5). They are connected to one another essentially via a trailing-edge region (4) and a leading-edge region (3) in such a way that at least one hollow space (2) used as a cooling-fluid passage is formed, in which ribs (7) are arranged. At least one rib (7) is configured in such a way that it has an apex (9) and two legs (14, 15), the legs (14, 15) of the rib being bent at an acute angle (8) relative to a radial plane (13). It is especially advantageous to arrange these ribs in a hollow space of double triangular shape having acute-angled triangular points in the region of the leading edge and the trailing edge.

A holder 20 for supporting loop-handled plastic bags 500 includes a support structure 22, two oppositely positioned cleats 28 and 30 for accepting the loop handles 506, and at least two oppositely positioned downwardly projecting fingers 36 and 40 for downwardly engaging the side portions 508 and 510 of the plastic bags 500 and thereby holding the plastic bags 500 in an open state suitable for receiving deposited items. In a preferred embodiment, cleats 28 and 30 and downwardly projecting fingers 36 and 40 are permanently connected to the mouth 26 of a wastebasket-type container 22. In an alternative embodiment, cleats 128 and 130 and downwardly projecting fingers 136 and 140 are removably connected to container mouth 126 with clips 129 and 150, and are selectively positionable along the mouth 126.

A method and apparatus for mixing and forming dough into plural discrete product units on a carrier and storing the ready to bake product, and a vending method and apparatus for separating the product from the carrier, baking the product and delivering the product, such as cookies or the like, to a customer. The mixed dough is formed into units, typically disk-like, and placed in a pattern on one or more first carrier sheets, then second carriers are applied with the product laminated between the sheets. The sheets and product can be fan-folded into containers, such as conventional boxes, which can be stored until needed. The containers are placed in a vending machine which leads the sheet assemblies to a station where the carrier sheets are removed and the product is dropped onto a surface that is moved through a convection oven for baking, then through a cooling station. The selected number of product units is dropped into a serving tray and presented to the customer. Typically, each baking cycle is initiated by the deposit of a selected amount of money into vending machine and the purchaser is notified that the freshly baked product is ready by a buzzer or the like.
