A vehicular trim component including a substrate and a continuous flexible surface layer wherein at least a portion of the continuous flexible surface layer has a visible light transmission of 5 to 30% as determined by ASTM D1003 or a visible light transmission greater than or equal to 80% as determined by ASTM D1003.
