A brake booster assembly having a brake booster body and a pushrod as well as a pushrod-pedal coupler are provided. The pushrod travels along a pushrod axis when being pushed. The brake booster assembly includes a pushrod-pedal coupler. The pushrod-pedal coupler comprises a pushrod-attachment end arranged on the pushrod and defining a longitudinal axis parallel to the pushrod axis. A pedal-attachment end is configured to be attached to a pedal and having a pedal pivot axis around which the pedal pivots when being pushed. The pedal pivot axis extends across the longitudinal axis. A coupler hinge is arranged between the pushrod-attachment end and the pedal-attachment end and connects the pushrod-attachment end with the pedal-attachment end. The coupler hinge has a coupler hinge axis that extends across the longitudinal axis and the pedal pivot axis. The pedal pivot axis and the coupler hinge axis are offset along the longitudinal axis.

An eyeglasses and headgear combination is disclosed. The eyeglasses may be worn alone or in combination with the headgear. The temple member of the eyeglasses is alternatively positionable behind the ear of the user or attached to the headgear. When the temple is attached to the headgear, the temple extends outward from the front of the eyeglasses at an angle different than when the temple is positioned behind the ear of the user. This provides maximum comfort for the user in both positions. The coupling to which the temple is attached may be pivoted to move the eyeglass lenses out of the user's field of vision and rest them on his head or headgear.

A system for photometric measurement of optical properties of a fluid medium utilizing multi-wavelength excitation includes a movable diffraction grating that is continuously oscillated over the spectral range of interest and a flashlamp producing high intensity, short duration flashes. The angular position of the grating at the time of a flash determines what wavelength of optical energy will be passed to the remainder of the system. Because the flash duration is brief in relation to the period of movement of the grating, the flash effectively freezes the motion of the grating allowing the high intensity output of the flashlamp to be supplied to the fluid medium, while successive flashes permit measurement at many different wavelengths in near simultaneous fashion. The system is disclosed for use in an absorbance detector for liquid chromatography.

Liquid animal feed supplements comprising water, soluble carbohydrate sources, at least one soluble elemental source selected from the group consisting of phosphorous and sulfur, and calcium chloride are prepared by first incorporating said elemental source with said carbohydrate source and water and thereafter incorporating into said resulting mixture the calcium chloride. By such method, gelling of the liquid feed supplement and/or sedimentation of insoluble materials therefrom are avoided and a stable, fluid liquid feed supplement obtained.
