An adjustable hangar for attaching an elongate beam to a structural building member includes a lower module and an upper module that are engaged with one another in a vertically reciprocal manner. The lower module includes a pair of parallel side panels spaced apart from one another and a lower beam support web. The upper module includes a top panel opposite the support web and a pair of opposite side members. The upper module further includes an upper support flange substantially parallel to the support web. In one embodiment, the upper module side members engage with the lower module in a vertically slidable relationship and define a beam receipt channel therebetween. When a beam is installed in the receipt channel, the upper and lower modules are adjusted vertically to trap the beam between the upper panel and support web with the beam circumscribed by the hanger.

An installation tool for fastening a top plate to a roof support member and other structural connections is adapted to drive threaded fasteners at a pre-established angle. The tool preferably includes a rotary driver assembly and a telescopic tube assembly. A guide head assembly is mounted adjacent the outer end of the telescopic tube assembly. Locating or reference structures function to properly precisely set the drive angle of the fastener. Various indicators mounted to the guide head indicate the flush position of a locating surface or reference structure. The flush indicators may employ a projection, a flag, an LED or an audio module.

An adhesive applicator nozzle for being attached to an adhesive applicator to apply adhesive to a surface of a structure having an edge to thereafter be adhered to a second structure. The nozzle includes a flow conduit for attachment to the applicator for receiving a delivered adhesive and an adhesive dispensing head having a discharge opening communicating with the flow conduit for receiving the adhesive from the flow conduit and applying the adhesive to the surface of the structure. A dispensing guide is attached to the applicator nozzle and extending forwardly and to one side of the dispensing head for engaging the edge of the surface of the structure and guiding the adhesive onto the surface.
