Various forms of anti-clog suction tips apparatus are disclosed. An exemplary anti-clog suction tip apparatus includes a suction tip assembly having a suction tip with a suction opening at a first end thereof for removing debris through suction, a hose attachment portion for attaching the suction tip assembly to a suction source, and an ejection wire channel. The apparatus further includes an ejection wire assembly having an ejection wire extending within the channel and an ejection button integral with or connected to the ejection wire. Applying a force to the ejection button advances the ejection wire through the channel such that an end portion of the ejection wire enters the suction tip and dislodges debris clogging the suction tip. The ejection wire may include an enlarged end portion such as, for example a ball tip. One or more of the components of the apparatus may be single-use and disposable.

Anti-clog suction tip apparatus and methods

A staple cartridge is disclosed. The staple cartridge comprises a cartridge body including staple cavities and staples removably stored in the staple cavities. The staple cartridge further comprises a firing member configured to eject the staples from the staple cavities. The staples and staple cavities include features which reduce friction forces between the staples and the staple cavities when the firing member ejects the staples from the staple cavities. Each of the staples comprises a base including a drive portion and staple legs extending from the base and, in at least one instance, each of the staple cavities includes a proximal guide and a distal guide configured to guide the staple legs of the staple positioned therein as it is ejected from the staple cavity. In certain instances, each of the staple cavities further includes an intermediate guide offset from the proximal guide and the distal guide.

A surgical staple cartridge is disclosed comprising a plurality of staples removably stored within the surgical staple cartridge. The staples comprise staple legs which extend from a staple base portion. The staple legs comprise staple tips configured to pierce tissue and contact a corresponding forming pocket of an anvil of surgical stapling instrument.

A method of manufacturing a connector device is described herein. The method of manufacturing can include constructing at least one leadframe having a circuit web, forming a substrate upon the leadframe by over-molding the substrate on the leadframe such that the circuit web is integrated within the substrate, and soldering an electrical connection to the circuit web.

Connector assembly and device and methods of assembling same

A device and an assembly related to connecting cables, wires, and electrical devices are described herein. The device can include a retainer, subretainer, and at least one contact pin in some embodiments. The retainer and subretainer can be removably coupled. The at least one contact pin can be positioned within channels of the retainer and the subretainer. In other aspects, a device can include a retainer, a subretainer, a retainer clip, a circuit web, and at least contact pin. The at least one contact pin can be position within channels of the retainer, the subretainer, and the retainer clip. Also described herein are methods of manufacturing a connector device.

A device and assembly related to connecting cables, wires, and electrical devices are described herein. The device and assembly can comprise a panel connector removably coupled to a cable connector. The panel connector can include a panel connector retainer, a panel connector subretainer, and at least one contact pin. The cable connector can include a cable connector retainer, a cable connector subretainer, and at least one contact pin. Also described herein are connectors having a ground clamp and cable clamp useful in connecting cables, wires, and electrical devices.

Connector assembly, device, and kit

Various forms of anti-clog suction tips apparatus are disclosed. For example, an anti-clog suction tip apparatus includes a suction tip assembly having a suction tip with a suction opening at a first end thereof for removing debris through suction, a hose attachment portion for attaching the suction tip assembly to a suction source, and an ejection wire channel. The apparatus further includes an ejection wire assembly having an ejection wire extending within the channel and an ejection button integral with or connected to the ejection wire. Applying a force to the ejection button advances the ejection wire through the channel such that an end portion of the ejection wire enters the suction tip and dislodges debris clogging the suction tip. The ejection wire may include an enlarged end portion such as, for example a ball tip. One or more of the components of the apparatus may be single-use and disposable.

An animal carcass rib spreader and method of use. The rib spreader includes two carcass engaging members coupled to a frame. Each of the carcass engaging members is adapted to engage opposite halves of a rib cage of an animal carcass. A first carcass engaging member of the two carcass engaging members is mounted to a carriage unit. The carriage unit is coupled upon an elongate member of the frame by a mechanically progressive mechanism that is used for causing movement relative to that elongate member. The mechanically progressive mechanism is engaged upon the elongate member and configured for manual actuation. The mechanically progressive mechanism incrementally advances the first carcass engaging member away from a second carcass engaging member for spreading the rib cage of the animal carcass. Preferably, the mechanically progressive mechanism is a ratchet mechanism driven by a pivotable actuator of a handle assembly that is connected to the carriage unit. The handle assembly includes a leverage extension configured to permit a user to manually grasp the leverage extension and the pivotable actuator in one hand thereby facilitating a squeeze action by a user of the handle assembly for mechanically spreading the rib cage of the animal carcass. A release mechanism is associated with the mechanically progressive mechanism for disengaging the mechanically progressive mechanism from locked engagement with the elongate member of the frame. This allows the first carcass engaging member to return toward the second carcass engaging member for disengaging the carcass engaging members from the animal carcass. Preferably, the release mechanism is a depressible lever configured for permitting a user to disengage the mechanically progressive mechanism using the same single hand utilized to actuate the mechanically progressive mechanism.
