Flush mount dispensing bottle and apparatus includes a bracket having a mounting flange and a bottle having a flat back with an embossment for receiving the flange and enabling the flat back to flushly contact a surface supporting the bracket. A button attachable to the surface at a spaced apart distance from the bracket is provided and a second embossment receiving the button enables the flat back to flushly contact the surface and further prevents unauthorized removal of the bottle from the bracket.

Secure surface mounted dispensing system

A composition for forming an antimicrobial artificial nail, a method for preparing the same, and a method for treating a microbial infection of a nail plate are provided. The composition comprises a binder component; a filler component which polymerizes to form an acrylic matrix subsequent to contact with the binder component; and an antimicrobial agent available for diffusion from the acrylic matrix.

A capacitive sensor system for controlling operation of a device in response to a rate of change in capacitance due to motion of a proximate object includes at least two sense electrodes disposed on a surface and a phase locked loop, including a voltage controlled oscillator and a phase/frequency comparator, connected between the sense electrodes and an RC network for providing an operating frequency to the sense electrodes. A circuit loop, including a reference oscillator, provides a fixed frequency reference for the phase locked loop to follow and a phase delay circuit connected between the phase/frequency comparator and the voltage controlled oscillator causes the voltage controlled oscillator to run ahead of the reference oscillator. A trigger circuit provides a control output in response to a change in phase shift between the fixed frequency and the operating frequency.

A bottle assembly for a battery powered dispenser includes a container for storing a dispensable fluid, a pump fixed to the container for releasing metered amounts of fluid from the container in response to a battery operated actuator disposed in the dispenser. A battery carrier, fixed to the container, provides power to the actuator. A base is provided for supporting the container and the battery carrier and enabling collapse of the container without interference with the battery carrier. A size and number of batteries are calibrated to provide an adequate power supply for the dispenser to dispense all of the fluids stored in the container.

A touch free dispenser includes a sealed collapsible bottle assembly for containing a dispensable fluid, the assembly including a collapsible container with a depending coupler, a fluid pump disposed within the coupler and a dispensing tip, in fluid communication with the pump and container, for both activating the pump and dispensing the fluid. A support frame is provided for removably receiving the bottle assembly with the container supported on a topside of the frame, the frame having an opening therethrough for enabling the tip to dispense fluid therethrough. A pump actuator, disposed on a bottom side of the frame is provided for engaging the tip in order to actuate the pump. A driver assembly, disposed on the frame bottom side operates the pump actuator in response to the electronic signal, and a controller senses a presence of a user's hand proximate the dispensing tip and provides the electronic signal to the driver.

A system for controlling operation of a device in response to the presence of a human body part includes a theremin for detecting the presence of a human body part in an area and producing a first output signal in response to the detection. A second sensor separately detects the presence of a human body part in the area and produces a second output signal in response to the separate detection. A processor determines the presence of both the first and second output signals and in response thereto provides a control signal to the device.

Dispensing control system

A fluid dispenser includes a disposable reservoir for containing a fluid and a tube depending therefrom for dispensing measured quantities of fluid. The tube includes a fluid dispensing orifice and a plunger for forcing measured quantities of fluid through the orifice. A solenoid disposed adjacent tube magnetically engages and moves the plunger in order to cause the plunger to force the measured quantities of fluid through the orifice. A control system is provided which includes a Theremin antenna for sensing the presence of a user's hand beneath the orifice and providing electrical current to the solenoid to enable the solenoid to magnetically engage and move the plunger.

Fluid dispenser

Antimicrobial compositions and methods for preparing and using same are provided. The antimicrobial compositions are surfactant-based and contain certain benzalkonium chloride homologs. The compositions are useful in treating infections in animals and humans, and can be applied to areas including the skin, nails, and mouth.
