Automated, climate-controlled product storage unit

Automated, environmentally monitored and controlled storage units and systems for storing, monitoring, and maintaining a supply of products, particularly temperature sensitive pharmaceutical and/or other high-value products, be they temperature sensitive or not. Such automated storage units contain an array of independently addressable holding locations for containers with product in one or more environmentally monitored (e.g., for temperature, humidity, etc.) and controlled zones fitted with appropriate environmental sensors. In preferred embodiments, the automated storage units also include a reader to track product information and status. Product loading, retrieval, and movement within such automated storage units is performed by a computer-controlled robot. A user interface device, preferably in communication with an application service provider to provide remotely managed inventory management and other services, provides users with inventory- and product-specific information.

Automated smart storage of products

A body weight support system includes a trolley, a powered conductor operatively coupled to a power supply, and a patient attachment mechanism. The trolley can include a drive system, a control system, and a patient support system. The drive system is movably coupled to a support rail. At least a portion of the control system is physically and electrically coupled to the powered conductor. The patient support mechanism is at least temporarily coupled to the patient attachment mechanism. The control system can control at least a portion of the patient support mechanism based at least in part on a force applied to the patient attachment mechanism.

Methods and apparatus for body weight support system

A body weight support system includes a trolley, a powered conductor operative coupled to a power supply, and a patient attachment mechanism. The trolley can include a drive system, a control system, and a patient support system. The drive system is movably coupled to a support rail. At least a portion of the control system is physically and electrically coupled to the powered conductor. The patient support mechanism is at least temporarily coupled to the patient attachment mechanism. The control system can control at least a portion of the patient support mechanism based at least in part on a force applied to the patient attachment mechanism.

The invention is a rapid prototype apparatus having a removable build chamber and a plurality of alignments surfaces that can be used to properly align the build chamber with the process chamber with minimal adjustments by a user. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises a process chamber attached to a support housing and a build chamber that is removably attached to the support housing. The build chamber may be inserted into the support housing and is moveable between a load position and a build position. The build chamber includes a moveable build platform and a plurality of alignment surfaces that are each adapted to releasably engage a corresponding surface on the support housing. As the build chamber moves into the build position, the alignment surfaces align the build platform the process chamber. As a result, the apparatus may be used to accurately align the build chamber with the process chamber.

Apparatus and method for aligning a removable build chamber within a process chamber

Acoustic noises are suppressed in a large format drafting plotter (10) utilizing a paper drive motor (22) mechanically coupled to a paper drive shaft (20) by a geared timing belt (26) from the motor to a pulley (24) on the drive shaft by suitably modifying the pulley. The pulley is modified by enlarging the drive shaft hole (38) in the center thereof so as to provide slip-mounting of the pulley on the drive shaft. A winged clamp (30) is provided, mounted on the pulley, and having a central portion (34) having an opening (36) therethrough for engaging a portion of the drive shaft and a tightening screw (40) for securing the winged clamp to the drive shaft. The winged clamp also has two opposed extensions (42), which are each maintained between a pair of bosses (44) on the outside surface (24a) of the pulley, and isolated therefrom by a pair of isolator pads (32) comprising a compliant material. The isolator pads serve to reduce the resonant amplification of objectionable acoustic noise by the spring-mass system (the drive shaft and the drive roller (16)) by absorbing oscillation energy in the compliant material.
