A refrigeration servicing system includes an apparatus and user equipment in electronic communication with the apparatus. The apparatus includes a body having a first end and a second end, wherein a passage extends within the body from the first end to the second end. A recess is formed within the body at the second end. The body comprises an inlet at the first end configured to directly engage with a portion of the refrigeration system, a conduit in fluid communication with the inlet, and a plunger. The conduit and plunger are each positioned in the passage. The apparatus also includes a housing at least partially positioned in the recess and in fluid communication with the conduit. The housing includes a sensor configured to directly contact the fluid and measure a parameter of the fluid. A method of servicing a refrigeration system is also provided.

Coupler and methods of use for assessment of refrigeration systems

Apparatus and method for opening refrigerant sources while servicing a refrigeration system are provided by this disclosure. A system may include a fluid source, a device capable of coupling to the fluid source, and a fluid receiving system. The device may include a valve disposed in the body of the apparatus. A portion of the valve being engageable with a refrigerant supply composed of either a self-sealing valve or a penetrable seal.

Apparatus and methodology for opening refrigerant sources while servicing automotive refrigeration systems

Servicing devices and methods of use for servicing refrigerant systems are described herein. A servicing device may include a body and actuator. The body includes a first fluid port that is coupleable to a fluid port of a fluid source; a second fluid port, that is operatively couples to a refrigeration system; a passage in fluid communication with the first and second fluid ports and in fluid communication; and a plunger at least partially disposed in the passage of the body, and the plunger is adjustable between a released position and an engaged position, during use. The actuator is coupled to the body, and, during use, downward movement the actuator raises or lowers a plunger such that substantially continuous fluid communication between the first fluid port and the second fluid port is established.
