The disclosed angled modular edge patching system is configured to be mounted to a ceiling, furniture or wall, facilitate cable management functions and enhance space utilization. The disclosed angled modular edge patching system including a patch panel element and a base, which are configured to be releasably engaged.

Modular edge patching system

Advantageous electrical connector assemblies or jack assemblies/housings for use in communication systems are provided. The present disclosure provides systems/methods for the design and use of high density shielded modular electrical connectors that include improved shielding techniques. The present disclosure provides for a direct shielded connection throughout a shielded modular electrical connector. The shielded modular electrical connector provides for a single continuous contact with a shielded cable. The electrical connector assemblies are configured to facilitate a direct shielding connection that minimizes the connection path and provides a more direct connection to plug/cable and/or foil/cable ground wire and mounting panel. The shielding assembly includes a modular voice/data/video connector that further includes a modular plug contact and a wrap-around shield contact. The modular plug contact can include both cable shield contacts and plug contacts. The wrap-around shield contact can include a continuously formed material that captures a cable shield.

Shielded high density jack

Exemplary embodiments are directed to cable dispenser systems that generally include at least two cable assemblies. The cable assemblies includes at least one cable that includes an elongated cord. The cable assemblies include a support element configured and dimensioned to support the at least one cable thereon. The systems include a housing configured and dimensioned to receive the cable assemblies. The housing includes at least one opening for dispensing each of the cable assemblies. Dispensing a first cable assembly from the opening repositions a second cable assembly adjacent to the opening. Exemplary embodiments are also directed to methods of cable assembly dispensing.

Cable assembly dispenser systems and associated methods

Cable assemblies, methods and systems are provided that generally include a first patch cord, a second patch cord and a third patch cord that are removably positioned within a housing for packaging and payout thereof. The first patch cord includes a first elongated cord and a first connector mounted with respect to one end of the first elongated cord. The second patch cord generally includes a second elongated cord and a second connector mounted with respect to one end of the second elongated cord. The third patch cord generally includes a third elongated cord and a third connector mounted with respect to one end of the third elongated cord. The patch cord assemblies generally include a first coupler element for detachably securing the first patch cord relative to the second patch cord. A second coupler element is provided for detachably securing the second patch cord relative to the third patch cord.

Cable assemblies and associated systems and methods

The present disclosure provides for electrical connectors or jack assemblies/housings for use in voice/data communication systems. More particularly, the present disclosure provides for modular jack assemblies that include a movable locking member. The present disclosure provides for improved systems/designs for jack assemblies/housings that are easily secured and/or unsecured to or from a jack panel or jack faceplate. In exemplary embodiments, the present disclosure provides for convenient, low-cost and effective systems and methods for easily securing and/or unsecuring jack assemblies/housings to or from a jack panel/faceplate (e.g., in the field) by utilizing advantageous modular jack assemblies that include a movable locking member, and related assemblies.
