A device for automatically connecting a work machine to a tractor includes a connector for interconnecting the rear ends of top link and lower links of a three-point link assembly pivoted to the body of the tractor. The connector has an upper engaging portion and lower engaging portions automatically engageable with an upper connecting portion and lower connecting portions of the work machine, respectively. The connector is further provided with an assembly for automatically coupling the input shaft of the work machine to a transmission shaft connected to the PTO shaft of the tractor. The coupling assembly includes a coiled spring supporting the rear end of the transmission shaft freely movably and axially movably for accommodating misalignment of the input shaft relative to the transmission shaft when the two shafts are to be coupled together.

Device for connecting work machine to tractor

The top link of a three-point link assembly on a tractor is connected to the two lower links thereof by a connecting assembly at the link ends toward a working implement. The connecting assembly has upper and lower connectors separably engageable with corresponding upper and lower connectable portions of the implement. An extendable transmission shaft having a pair of joints at its respective ends is interposed between the PTO shaft of the tractor and an input shaft of the implement. The connecting assembly has a clutch for operatively connecting an internally splined portion of the implement-side joint to an externally splined portion of the input shaft. The clutch has guides fixed to the connecting assembly and extending longitudinally of the tractor, a tubular case supported by slide members on the guides and movable axially thereof and an operating assembly for the case. The case has the implement-side joint inserted therein. The slide members each have a spring for holding the case translatably and swingably upward or downward relative to the guides.

Device for connecting working implement to tractor

A load handling vehicle equipped with a load handling device comprises a pair of reinforcing frames attached to opposite sides of the vehicle body, a steering panel, a front cover covering the space under the panel from the front and a protective device covering the operator's seat and including a pair of opposite front posts connected to the frames in front of the seat. Each of the front posts comprises a lower post member extending upright from the frame and positioned in the vicinity of of the front cover, and an upper post member removably attached to the lower post member. The steering panel and the front cover are attached to the pair of lower post members and can therefore be fixed in place by a simple arrangement and yet with increased strength. When unnecessary, the protective device is removable with the panel and the cover fixed in place.

Load handling vehicle

An apparatus for controlling the posture of the work implement of a loader comprises a boom supported by a boom pivot on a mast secured to a vehicle body and movable upward and downward by a boom cylinder, first and second arms supported by an intermediate portion of the boom and pivotally movable relative to each other, a pivotal member pivoted to the boom by the boom pivot, a first connecting member operatively connecting a point on the pivotal member away from the pivoted point thereof to the first arm, a second connecting member connecting the second arm to the work implement at the forward boom end, an engaging portion for engaging the second arm with the first arm when the implement is moved by an implement cylinder in the scooping direction approximately into a specified posture, and an interlocking member operatively connecting the pivotal member to an implement control valve for the implement cylinder so that the valve is operated in the dumping direction by the movement of the pivotal member with the rise of the boom after the second arm is engaged with the first arm by the engaging portion. The implement can be maintained in the specified posture when the boom is raised, preventing earth from spilling from the implement.

Apparatus for controlling posture of work implement of loader

A pair of reinforcing frames each comprising front and rear two dividable segments are attached to opposite sides of a vehicle body which comprises an engine, a clutch housing and a transmission case directly joined together into an assembly. Front and intermediate gate frames provided over the vehicle body at its front and intermediate portions astride thereof are secured to the reinforcing frames. Upper component members of the vehicle and a four-post protective frame are attached to the front and intermediate gate frames. The front and intermediate gate frames include upright members each made of a pipe of square to rectangular cross section. The members attached to the gate frames include front wheel fenders, a front cover, a bonnet, a fuel tank and a partition plate.
