A urethane composition is disclosed for a coating film waterproof material which does not contain any of specific chemical substances, has work efficiency that is the same as that of a general-purpose highly extensible urethane coating film waterproof material, an elongation rate of a highly extensible urethane coating film waterproof material, and strength of a high-strength urethane coating film waterproof material, has no decrease in weather resistance of a top coat resulting from a plasticizer, and is suitable for a non-bleeding type of coating by hand that is not affected by migration of a low fraction of asphalt.

Between a data recording/playback device and a data storage device, CBC-mode encryption processing is executed which encrypts a plurality of encryption keys of content which correspond to sectors. The encrypted data is stored in a header corresponding to the content. The CBC-mode encryption processing is executed by using a storage key unique to media in which the content is stored. For using the content, only by decrypting the key data in media in which mutual authentication is established, the content can be used, so that highly-secure key storage is implemented.

A low coherence beam emitted by a low coherence light source is split into two portions. One portion is transmitted from the outward end of a first single mode fiber via a detachable connector to a beam scanning probe, and then to a biological tissue; and the other is transmitted from an optical coupler placed midway along the light path via a second single mode fiber to a light path modifier. The light path modifier includes a galvanometer mirror to modify the light path length in accordance with a scan range, and a uniaxial stage to adjust the light path length to absorb the variation in lengths of different beam scanning probes. The light path is adjusted by the uniaxial stage such that the beam interference is detected for the scan range, to ensure stable acquisition of tomographic images.

There is provided an apparatus for gene therapy to transfer or introduce, in vivo, a gene for treatment into a cell located at a target portion of a patient, so that the gene can be transferred with a high probability within a short period of time. The apparatus is applicable to all cell species. In addition to simple supply of a gene to the cell of the patient, the gene is forcibly transferred to the cell without depending on natural cellular physiology. For example, catheters are mounted on a probe inserted into a body cavity, and the gene is supplied from a reservoir which stores the gene to the surface of a human living cell of the target portion in the body cavity through needle cannulas attached to the distal ends of the catheters. A pulse voltage is applied to the needle cannulas to form a pore in the surface of the human living cell upon application of the pulse voltage. The gene is transferred into the human living cell through the pore.
