A catheter for an extracorporeal blood circulator disperses a flow of blood flowing out from a blood feeding hole to reduce the impact of blood collision on a living organ. The catheterincludes a blood feeding lumenextending in an axial direction and a blood feeding holecommunicating with a distal end of the blood feeding lumen, and a side portionof the blood feeding hole on the proximal side facing the blood feeding lumen is cut out to a bottom portionof the blood feeding hole.

Catheter for extracorporeal blood circulator

A percutaneous catheter provides an adjustable diameter in order to reduce pressure loss, maintain a required flow, and avoid increasing a load to the patient. A catheter tube is formed of braided wires in an intersecting manner and extends in an axial direction. A distal tip is affixed to a distal side of the catheter tube and is configured to engaged a distal end of a dilator. The catheter tube includes a non-coated portion on a proximal side of the distal tip and a coated portion embedded in a resin material. An inner diameter of the non-coated portion is larger than an outer diameter of the dilator. When the dilator is fully inserted through the percutaneous catheter, the non-coated portion expands in the axial direction, reducing its in inner diameter so that an inner surface of the non-coated portion comes into tight contact with an outer surface of the dilator.

Percutaneous catheter and percutaneous catheter assembly

A percutaneous catheter is disclosed through which blood passes. The percutaneous catheter having a catheter tube including a first tube and a second tube, the second tube being in fluid communication with the first tube, the first tube having an inner diameter greater than an inner diameter of the second tube, and wherein the first tube is more flexible than the second tube.

Percutaneous catheter and method of using percutaneous catheter

A syringe assembly includes a first syringe having a first syringe outer cylinder filled with a first liquid, and a first gasket; a second syringe having a second syringe outer cylinder filled with a second liquid, and a second gasket; and a pusher assembly which performs a pushing operation of collectively moving the first and second gaskets. The pusher assembly includes a first pusher having a distal portion connected to the first gasket; a second pusher branching from the first pusher, extending distally, having a distal portion connected to the second gasket; and an operation section which is provided on a proximal-side extension line of the first pusher and is operated for the pushing operation.

Syringe assembly

A sprayer includes: a sprayer body; a nozzle extending from the sprayer body; and an irradiation unit disposed on a leading end of the nozzle and emitting light that is oriented and diffuses in a leading end direction of the nozzle. The nozzle includes: an elongated nozzle body extending from the sprayer body and having a curved portion on a leading end side; and a nozzle head disposed on a leading end of the nozzle body. The irradiation unit is arranged inside a curve shape of the curved portion.

Sprayer

A connector is configured to be connected to a syringe assembly provided with at least one syringe having an outer cylinder with a protruding tube-shaped port, and a holder which holds the syringe. The connector includes a connector main body mountable on a container containing a medical solution; a tube-shaped fitting section protruding from the upper section of the connector main body for receiving the syringe to connect the inside of the syringe and the inside of the container when the syringe port is fitted in the fitting section; and fixing means having a lock mechanism that fixes the syringe assembly to the connector main body when the syringe port is fitted in the fitting section, an operating section to release the fixed state provided by the lock mechanism, and a push-out section that pushes out the syringe assembly when the fixing releasing operation is performed.

Connector, syringe assembly, and connector for mixing

An applicator to be used with first and second liquid-containing syringes comprises an applicator main body for receiving the syringes, a gas flow path adapted to be connected to a gas supply for supplying a gas, a nozzle through which is discharged the gas and the liquids in the syringes, an operation part adapted to be pressed to operate pushers of the syringes, and an opening and closing mechanism in the operation part for shutting off/opening the gas flow path. The opening and closing mechanism is operable to open the gas flow path in synchronization with the pressing operation by the operation part.

Applicator

A sprayer includes a nozzle through which gas is to be ejected with positiveness and uniformity. The sprayer is provided with a nozzle having inner tubes through the interior of which liquid is to pass and an outer tube receiving the inner tubes therein and allowing gas to pass through a space defined with the inserted inner tubes. The inner tubes have respective liquid orifices through which liquids are to be ejected. The outer tube is arranged therein with the liquid orifices and a gas orifice for ejecting gas. When the nozzle is viewed from front, the outer peripheries of the liquid orifices each assume a circular form while the inner peripheries of the gas orifices are differently shaped to provide plural point contact between the outer periphery of the liquid orifice and the inner periphery of the gas orifice.

A blood reservoir being capable of reducing damage to blood stored therein. The blood reservoir has a housing in the form of a box, and filtering and defoaming devices provided in the housing, i.e., a device for filtering and defoaming on blood suctioned from a surgical field (outside a heart), a device for filtering and defoaming on blood vented from the interior of the heart, and a device for filtering and defoaming on blood drawn off from a large vein. The vented blood flowing into the blood reservoir passes through a vented blood filtering member to be introduced into a blood storage space without contacting an antifoaming agent and foreign substances filtered off from the suctioned blood.

Blood reservoir

A suspension includes: wheel supporting members for supporting wheels, a leaf spring having both end portions each arranged on an upper side of the respective wheel supporting member; a pivot supporting the leaf spring, and receiving pieces interposed between the wheel supporting members and the both end portions of the leaf spring respectively. Each of the wheel supporting members includes a recess portion on which one of the receiving pieces is mounted. Each of the receiving pieces includes an engaging portion for engaging with one of the both end portions of the leaf spring. Each of the receiving pieces includes an elastic member and a first metal plate joined on the elastic member. The elastic member can deform to follow a displacement of a relative position between the leaf spring and one of the wheel supporting members.

Suspension

A suspension includes wheel supporting members for supporting wheels; a first leaf spring having both end portions each disposed on an upper side of one of the wheel supporting members; a second leaf spring extending along the first leaf spring; a pivot for supporting the second leaf spring on a vehicle body; a spacer provided between the first and second leaf springs; sliders fixed on the second leaf spring but being in slidable contact with the first leaf spring; and receiving pieces interposed between the both end portions and the wheel supporting members. Each of the receiving pieces includes an engaging portion for engaging with one of the both end portions. Each of the receiving pieces includes an elastic member capable of deforming to follow a relative displacement between the first leaf spring and the wheel supporting member in the vehicle width direction.

A hollow fiber membrane oxygenator of external blood circulation type has a housing and a lot of porous hollow fiber membranes for gas transfer housed in the housing. In the oxygenator, blood flows along the outer side of the hollow fiber membranes, whereas oxygen-containing gas flows along the inner side thereof. An outer surface or outer layer of the hollow fiber membrane as a blood-contacting portion is coated with synthetic polymer mainly formed of alkoxyalkyl(meta)acrylate containing a C(1-4)alkoxy group and a C(1-4)alkyl group. An intermediate layer and inner layer of the hollow fiber membranes contain substantially no synthetic polymer.

Hollow fiber membrane oxygenator

A camera with a built-in or removable, zoom flash unit having an illumination angle that varies automatically in accordance with the focal length of a photographic zoom lens that is attached to the camera. The camera inhibits the shutter release until the illumination angle of the zoom flash unit has reached a value corresponding with the focal length selected for the zoom lens.
