A magnetic stimulator includes a magnetic core, conductors, and a casing. The magnetic core includes a body portion, and leg parts that protrude in the same direction from the body portion. The conductors are wound in a coil manner respectively around the leg parts. The casing is a container for housing the magnetic core and the conductors. The leg parts of the magnetic core are formed such that cross-sectional areas thereof that are parallel to a plane which simultaneously crosses the leg parts gradually decrease from base parts on the body portion side toward tips.

Magnetic stimulation device

A magnetic stimulation device includes: a U-shaped magnetic core including a core body and a pair of legs extending in the same direction from the core body; conductors including a conductor having conductive layers that are wound around the leg and stacked in different levels and a conductor having conductive layers that are wound around the leg and stacked in different levels. The conductive layers and are each formed of a wire having a rectangular cross section that is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the legs, and are connected in parallel to the respective legs. Between the legs, the wires of the conductive layers around the leg are respectively connected, at each level, to the wires of the conductive layers around the second leg.

The present invention provides an apparatus for applying electrical stimulation to cells in a liquid culture medium without using electrodes immersed in the liquid culture medium. This apparatus is an electrical stimulation apparatus A for electrically stimulating cells in a liquid culture medium (). A liquid culture medium vessel () includes: a ring-shaped recess () for holding the liquid culture medium (); and a through hole () formed within the ring-shaped recess (). A magnetic core () is made of a magnetic material and disposed such that a portion thereof is inserted through the through hole () of the liquid culture medium vessel (). An excitation coil () is wound around the magnetic core (). A coil power supply () supplies a varying current to the excitation coil ().

Apparatus and method for non-contact electrical stimulation of cells in liquid culture medium

A smaller-sized, more lightweight, and power-saving successive magnetic pulse device is provided. A discharging circuit section K is configured by connecting, in series in a loop, a magnetic therapy pulse coilconfigured to generate an eddy current in a target part, a charging/discharging capacitor, and a switching semiconductor elementconfigured to supply a discharge current from the charging/discharging capacitorto the pulse coil. A step-up transformerincludes a primary-side coilconnected to an AC power supplyand a secondary-side coilconnected to input terminalsof a full-wave rectifying circuit. A control unitis connected to a switching semiconductor elementand controls conduction timing of the switching semiconductor element. The full-wave rectifying circuithas output terminalsconnected to both terminals Pand Pof the charging/discharging capacitor, respectively. An inductoris connected between the output terminalof the full-wave rectifying circuitand the terminal Pof the charging/discharging capacitor
