A disk device configured in such a manner that, in addition to tilt adjustment, the adjustment of the distance between a disk and an optical pickup can be easily performed. The disk device is provided with a stepping motor () for moving the optical pickup (), a base chassis () to which a spindle motor () for rotating a turntable on which a disk () is affixed is mounted so as to be adjustable in position, a guide shaft () provided to the base chassis () so as to extend in the radial direction of the disk and guiding the movement of the optical pickup () by being in contact with a portion of the optical pickup (), a sub guide shaft () provided to the base chassis () and guiding the movement of the optical pickup (), a tilt adjusting section () for adjusting the relative distance between the sub guide shaft () and the base chassis (), and a turntable adjusting section () for adjusting the radial angle, the tangential angle, and the height of the spindle motor () relative to the base chassis ().

A disc device capable of achieving a slimming down of a tilt adjusting portion is provided. A tilt adjusting memberof a tilt adjusting portionmoves an optical pickup driving portionalong a guide faceto adjust a light beamemitted from an optical pickupsuch that an optical axisis set perpendicularly to a disc. Since the tilt adjusting memberis moved in a direction oblique to the guide faceand a direction perpendicular to the optical pickup driving portion, an amount of movement of the tilt adjusting membercan be reduced smaller than a necessary amount of tilt adjustment of the optical pickup driving portionand also a slimming down of the tilt adjusting portioncan be achieved. In this case, since a top end portion of the optical pickup driving portionis energized by an energizing memberto come into contact with the tilt adjusting memberand the guide face, this top end portion of the optical pickup driving portioncan be adjusted to come close to and go away from the discwithout wobbling and rattling.

Disc device

A disc device is capable of suppressing movement of discs remaining on standby. Discs are moved upward and downward, thereby providing an operation space S at a lower side of the desired disc, and a pivotal arm is located in a predetermined position, and thereafter the desired disc is set on the pivotal arm, and recording/reproduction is effected. At this time, the standby discs disposed at the lower side of the desired disc are disposed below the operation space (S), and are fixed by pressing pressing members of disc fixing portions against outer peripheral surfaces thereof.

Disc device having improved suppression of disc movement

To provide an optical disc device in which the number of parts is small, and quietness can be secured with a simple mechanism. The optical disc device includes a main body having a disc insertion/removal port, and a conveying roller for conveying a disc between the disc insertion/removal port and a disc receiving position in the main body, and also includes a swinging lever which is pivotally supported at its proximal end on a supporting shaft within the main body, and has a disc arrival switch fixed thereto, and a detection lever which is pivotally supported at its proximal end on the supporting shaft, and contacts an outer periphery of the disc (which is to be received in the disc receiving position) at its distal end to operate the disc arrival switch, and when the disc is to be inserted into the disc receiving position, the detection lever is projected into the disc receiving position.

Optical disc device having reduced striking sound

A disc device is for electrically identifying and determining the number of discs inserted into the disc device. Roller members for coming in contact with a disc inserted into the device, transporting the disc, and inserting and ejecting the disc are provided in the vicinity of a disc insertion slot of a cabinet. A lever member for engaging a lever engagement part of a roller member and capable of rotating with a stem member as a supporting point and a push switch for detecting displacement of the lever member are provided. If the disc is inserted into the device, the roller member displaces in the up direction of the disc (A direction in a figure), the lever member displaces in an H direction in the figure, and the displacement of the lever member is detected by the push switch, whereby the thickness of the disc inserted into the device is detected.

Disc identification device, disc insertion-ejection device, and disc device

An optical disc device capable of sensing exactly whether or not a disc is present is provided. In an optical disc device includes a main body having a disc slot, and a carrying roller for carrying a disc between the disc slot and a disc loading position of the main body, a swinging lever whose base end is supported turnably in an inside of the main body by a supporting shaft and to which a disc arriving switch is fixed, and a sensing lever whose base end is supported turnably by the supporting shaft and whose top end contacts the outer periphery of the disc, which is loaded in the disc loading position, to operate the disc arriving switch are provided.

Optical disc device having improved disc detection

An optical disk device is capable of reducing a thickness of a loading portion equipped with plural sheets of trays. Trays installed in a main body are energized to put an optical disk between them in the thickness direction. Therefore, a thickness of plural sheets of trays can be reduced by cutting down a clearance between the tray and the optical disk. Also, plural sheets of trays are energized by spring members to be put elastically between them in the thickness direction. Therefore, an excessive pushing force is not applied to the optical disk loaded on the tray. Also, a hollow portion of the tray is formed such that projection portions protruded in excess of a standard thickness dimension of the optical disk do not interfere with the tray. Therefore, even when the projection portions are protruded from an adapter, such adapter can be loaded on the tray.

Optical disk device

To provide an optical disc device in which an identification and a disc ejection control processing for an optical disc with a high transmitting property and an 8-cm optical disc attached to an adapter can be effected easily and positively. There are provided a body capable of receiving an optical disc therein, an insertion/ejection port capable of insertion and ejection of the optical disc relative to the interior of the body, and rollers which are provided within the body, and rotate, while holding the optical disc therebetween, so as to convey the optical disc into the interior of the body. A mechanical detector, having a contact element for contact with at least one of obverse and reverse surfaces of the optical disc to detect the optical disc, is provided within the body so that an identification and a disc ejection control processing for optical discs can be effected easily and positively.

Optical disc device for identifying an inserted disc

An optical disc device and a disc changer drive capable of achieving a reduction in cost and number of articles and a reduction in size of the disc drive with a simple configuration rather than the prior art and also carrying out a stable playing/writing operation are provided. An optical disc device includes a playing chassis which is supported turnably on a main body of the disc drive and on which a turntable is installed, a substantially Y-shaped cam groove formed on the playing chassis, a driving lever on which a substantially T-shaped cam groove is formed and which transmits a power to a holding portion of the disc, and a turning lever supported turnably on the main body and engaged with the playing chassis and the cam groove of the driving lever via a driving shaft, wherein a turning of the turning lever is followed by a turning of the playing chassis and a movement of the driving lever that follows the turning of the playing chassis to hold a disc as a series of operations.

The present invention provides a disc drive apparatus capable of identifying a disc (12 cm) having a small data area (8 cm) in central as same as an ordinary 12 cm disc. The apparatus having a light receiving unitand a push switch. The unitis arranged in a position where the unitdetects the disc having the small data area in central when the switchdetects the same, and where the unitdoes not detect a disc (12 cm) having a hole (8 cm) in central when thedetects the same. The apparatus also has an disc identifier for identifying type of the disc based on the detected results of the light receiving units and/or the push switches.
