A semiconductor chip having a plurality of electrodes on its surface is fixed onto a die pad. The leads are spaced away from the die pad and connected to the electrodes of the semiconductor chip by means of a TAB tape. The die pad is substantially equal in size to the insulation film of the TAB tape. The die pad has a plurality of resin circulating holes around the semiconductor chip. The resin circulating holes are arranged such that a fluid resin sufficiently flows into a narrow area between the TAB tape and die pad. On the die pad, portions each between adjacent resin circulating holes serves as heat conducting paths. The heat generated from the semiconductor chip is transmitted to the entire region of the die pad through the heat conducting paths and then radiated outside.

A chain adjusting device for vehicles having a rear fork pivoted to a main vehicle frame with an intermediate shaft and a driving shaft rotatably mounted to the rear fork. A primary chain coupling the intermediate shaft with the output shaft of an engine and a secondary chain coupling the intermediate shaft with the driving shaft directs power from the engine to a drive wheel. The intermediate shaft is mounted to the rear fork by means of a bearing assembly mounted to a bracket located between parallel cross members of the rear fork. An adjustment bracket is provided to mount arms associated with the bearing assembly in position.

Chain adjusting device for vehicles

A supporting spring and a hydraulic damper are physically separately positioned apart from each other and from the pivot of a swing-arm type subframe of a two or three wheel motorcycle. The operating ends of each are connected to the subframe by a link mechanism. A rotary type damper and a torsion spring are preferred.

Shock absorber for motorcycle

A rotary type hydraulic damper for motorcycle suspension application is disclosed in which a shaft and a housing each containing oppositely extending vanes are arranged for relative rotational movement. The vanes cooperate to define alternately spaced expansion and compression chambers between which hydraulic fluid is passed in response to relative movement between the shaft and the housing. According to one aspect of the invention, a manifold arrangement includes the interconnection of the expansion chambers at one end of the housing and that of the compression chambers at the other end thereof, and a throttling device restricts the flow of fluid between the respective chambers to provide a damping force generator. According to another aspect of the invention the damper shaft provides structural support for the motorcycle drive sprocket, whereby strength requirements for the sprocket bearing case are reduced.

Rotary type hydraulic damper

A rear cushion unit having an oil storage chamber integrally arranged therewith at the upper rearward side thereof on a motorcycle. An air cleaner is arranged behind the chamber with an intake passage at the upper portion thereof. Spacing is provided around the chamber and the air intake passage such that air flow may be drawn around the chamber by the intake passage when the engine is running. In this way, cooling of the chamber is accomplished.
