A transfer apparatus for transferring pre-processed sheet materials discharged from an outlet of a sheet processing apparatus includes a transfer unit provided outside of the outlet for receiving the sheet materials discharged from the outlet and transferring the sheet materials to a plurality of collecting sites. The transfer unit is capable of selectively shifting the transfer direction thereof in such a manner as to transfer each of the sheet materials to a predetermined collecting site.

Transfer apparatus for transferring pre-processed sheet materials, and photographic processing apparatus using the same

A photosensitive material discharging apparatus includes a discharge roller pair,disposed in an outlet for discharging for a photosensitive material, and a plurality of transport roller pairs,arranged on a transport path upstream of the discharge roller pair. The discharge roller pair has a first roller,rotatable at a higher peripheral speed than the transport roller pairs, and a second roller,disposed to pinch the photosensitive material with the first roller. The second roller is freely rotatable to cause slippage between the first roller and the photosensitive material when the photosensitive material is pinched by both transport roller pairs and discharge roller pair, and to allow the photosensitive material to be transported reliably by drive of the first roller when the photosensitive material is pinched only by the discharge roller pair.

Photosensitive material discharging apparatus

A photographic light-sensitive material conveying apparatus for conveying a photographic light-sensitive material in a dryer chamber has a hollow guide member fixedly mounted in the dryer chamber for shifting the conveying direction of the photographic light-sensitive material. An air suction duct is connected to the inner space of the guide member. A plurality of perforations are formed in the guide member for communication between the inner space of the guide member and the interior of the dryer chamber. A conveyor belt has air permeability and is provided over the guide member for conveying the photographic light-sensitive material, wherein the conveyor belt can slidingly run on and along the outer side of the guide member.

Conveying apparatus for photographic light-sensitive materials

A sorter includes a plurality of receiver members for receiving a workpiece, and a rotary circulating mechanism driven by a driving unit to circulate along a circulatory path. The circulating mechanism mounts the receiver members to be pivotable about a first pivot axis. On the circulatory path of the rotary circulating mechanism, each receiver member is switchable between an extended posture at which the receiver member is capable of receiving the workpiece and a folded posture at which the receiver member is pivotally folded about the first axis to the vicinity of the rotary circulating mechanism. Each receiver member has at least one second pivot axis extending substantially parallel to the first pivot axis. Also, each receiver member includes a plurality of receiver elements which are pivotable relative to each other about the second pivot axis and an extended-posture maintaining mechanism interposed between the adjacent receiver elements for maintaining the receiver elements at a predetermined posture when the receiver member assumes the extended posture.

Apparatus having a rotary circulating mechanism

A conveyer belt includes a conveying face which is divided into at least two areas one of which has a larger coefficient of friction than the other. Alternatively, the conveying face includes an area in which a coefficient of friction thereof varies from a large value to a small value from one side to the other side along a direction transverse to the belt. A transfer device is provided for discharging sheet material on to the conveying face of the conveyer belt in the direction transverse to the belt. The conveyer belt is disposed in such a manner that the area of the conveying face on the side of the transfer device has a larger coefficient of friction than the area on the other side.

A sorting apparatus for sorting a plurality of prints produced by a photographic printer. The apparatus includes a movable table for mounting the prints thereon, and a stopper member disposed on an upper surface of the movable table for coming into contact with the prints mounted on the movable table. The movable table is projectable and retractable relative to the stopper member. With a retracting movement of the movable table relative to the stopper member, the prints mounted on the movable table are caused to come into contact with the stopper member and to be dropped off the table to be sorted.

Sorting apparatus for photographic printer

A conveying apparatus for photosensitive material is provided with a mesh belt for conveying a developed photosensitive material to a drier section to dry it. The mesh belt has a belt having a thickness of thread within the range of 0.1 mm to 1.0 mm. The mesh size of the mesh belt does not exceed 5 mm. The ratio of the open area of the mesh to the total area of the mesh belt is within the range of 20% to 60%.

Conveying apparatus for photosensitive material

A photosensitive material transporting apparatus includes a transport passage for transporting a plurality of developed photosensitive materials in parallel with each other with a phase difference therebetween in a transporting direction thereof, a photosensitive material receiving mechanism disposed downstream of the transport passage for receiving the photosensitive materials, and a transport conveyer disposed between an exit of the transport passage and the photosensitive material receiving mechanism and having a conveying passage extending substantially normal to a discharging direction of the photosensitive materials discharged from the exit. The apparatus further includes a transporting pinch roller mechanism disposed along the transport passage of the photosensitive materials and capable of transporting the materials by pinching them, a discharging pinch roller mechanism disposed at the exit of the transport passage and having a higher transporting speed than the transporting pinch roller mechanism and a torque limiter attached to a roller of of the discharging pinch roller mechanism for rendering the roller freely rotatable in response to a torque greater than a predetermined value.

Photosensitive material transporting apparatus

A leader stocker is located at a discharge end of a leader carrier path in an automatic film developing machine for storing leaders with films coupled thereto. The leader stocker is a case that has a bottom opening for receiving leaders therethrough. A plurality of pairs of vertically extending leader supports are provided in the case. Each pair is provided for receiving a leader in the case. A detent is located at a lower end of each vertically extending leader support in order to allow leaders that are inserted into the case to move upwardly along the leader supports and then to prevent the leaders from moving downwardly in the case.

Leader stocker and leader stocker assembly

An apparatus for arraying sheets of photosensitive material provided in a film printing/developing apparatus. A sorting guide is provided for selectively feeding the sheets of photosensitive material according to their size. The sorted sheets are fed further either in a one-line arrangement or in a two-line zigzag arrangement to an upper outlet or to a lower outlet by guides. Along the path to the lower outlet are mounted one-way rollers and high-speed rollers, so that the sheets of photosensitive material in a two-line zigzag arrangement will be fed at high speed. The sheets of photosensitive material thus fed out of the lower outlet are overlapped one upon another on the pan by means of a conveyor in the order of the frames in one roll of film.
