A gear pump is provided with: a casing including a suction port configured to suck fluid, and a discharge port configured to expel the pressurized fluid; a gear including a wheel portion with gear teeth and an axially elongated shaft portion, the gear being so housed in the casing as to transport the fluid from the suction port to the discharge port; and a floating bearing rotatably supporting the shaft portion and being movable axially, the floating bearing including a sealing face in contact with the wheel portion, a receiver face axially opposed to the sealing face; and a communication path having an opening on the sealing face and communicating the opening with a third pressurization chamber defined by a third receiver face of the receiver face and the casing.

Gear pump with floating bearing with receiver faces

In an external gear pump, a first bushing of a rotational shaft of a first gear has a second surface facing to a first surface of a pump body. A recess for supplying high-pressure lubricating oil between an inner circumferential surface of the first bushing and an outer circumferential surface of the rotational shaft is opened on the inner circumferential surface within a low pressure range associating with an inlet chamber of fluid. A bushing-side supply passage for supplying the high-pressure lubricating oil to the recess is formed within the first bushing. A bushing-side inlet port of the bushing-side supply passage is opened on the second surface within a high pressure range associating with an outlet chamber of the fluid. A body-side supply passage for supplying the high-pressure lubricating oil to a body-side supply port opened on the first surface is formed within the pump body.

External gear pump

A gear pump is comprised of a driving gear, a first driven gear and second driven gears mutually in mesh; a housing accommodating them and defining a flow path including a first suction port, a second suction port, a first pressure port and a second pressure port; a floating comprising a thrust face bearing a floating force exerted by fluids and first, second and third pressure-receiving faces respectively oriented in a direction opposed to the thrust face; a first pressurizing chamber having fluid connection with the first pressure port or the second pressure port to exert pressure on the first pressure-receiving face; a second pressurizing chamber having fluid connection with the first suction port to exert pressure on the second pressure-receiving face; and a third pressurizing chamber having fluid connection with the second suction port to exert pressure on the third pressure-receiving face.

Triple gear pump and fluid supplying device

A miniature linear motion guide unit can eliminate the need for additional machining on a track rail, and thus improve the accuracy of the track rail and reduce the manufacturing costs. A track rail (R) having raceway grooves () is fixed to a mounting surface by a fixing member (A). A slider (S) straddles and moves on the track rail. The fixing member has a recessed groove () formed in an opposing mounting face () facing the mounting surface and straddling the track rail. Part of the recessed groove is in contact with the track rail when the recessed groove straddles the track rail. A mounting hole () is drilled in a portion of the recessed groove of the fixing member away from the track rail. A stopper member () such as a bolt is inserted in the mounting hole and fixed to the mounting surface.
