A stator includes multiple motor coils. The motor coils include multiple U-phase coils, multiple V-phase coils and multiple W-phase coils which are arranged in a circumferential direction of a motor. A neutral bus ring connects the motor coils together. The neutral bus ring is divided into multiple bus ring members. Each bus ring member connects together any one of the U-phase coils, any one of the V-phase coils and any one of the W-phase coils.

A molded motor includes an annular stator formed by molding coils in resin, a rotor disposed in an internal space which is formed radially inside the stator, a cover covering the internal space, and an elastic member sandwiched between the cover and the stator and located at a more inner side in the radial direction of the stator from the coils.

An aspect of the invention provides a motor that comprises: a stator including multiple motor coils; multiple bus rings configured to distribute currents of different phases to the motor coils; and a ring-shaped bus ring holder in which multiple holding grooves configured to hold the respective bus rings are formed, wherein: each of the motor coils includes an insulator around which a wound wire is wound; the insulator includes an outer flange formed at an outer side of the wound wire in a radial direction of the motor and extending in an axial direction of the motor; and the bus ring holder is arranged at an outer side of the outer flange in the radial direction of the motor, and contiguous to the outer flange.

The teeth section and the yoke section are made of mutually independent configuration members, and connected to each other. An adjustable bed includes a platform having a flexible surface, a flex mechanism adapted to flex the platform to form a flexion position that includes at least one of a sitting-up position and a knee break, and a tilt mechanism adapted to tilt the platform surface laterally, the flex and tilt mechanisms both being operable with the other mechanism in an operational state. Furthermore, the adjustable bed includes a side member disposed on a side of the platform, and a side-member lift mechanism adapted to raise the side member relative to the platform surface, the tilt mechanism tilting the platform surface toward the side member raised by the side-member lift mechanism.

An adjustable bed that enables a Gatch mechanism to be operated in an excellent fashion to match the flexing of a care recipient's body, and that is, moreover, useable as a superior low platform bed for care recipients. To this end, a parallel link mechanism having a pair of perpendicular arms is provided in the adjustable bed as part of a sitting-up mechanism, and by always keeping these arms in a perpendicular position, the sitting-up mechanism is operated with a position removed from the surface of a lower-back board by a prescribed interval as an imaginary rotation center when the bed is driven. This prevents any slippage of the care recipient's body in relation to the platform surface, thereby suppressing the occurrence of bedsores and realizing a natural sitting-up action that takes account of the care recipient's body movement.

Sun tracking lighting device

A solar lighting apparatus includes a transparent dome. The transparent dome is provided, at its ceiling center, with a control box accommodating a stepping motor, a controller for controlling the motor and a secondary battery. The stepping motor has a motor shaft coupled with a rotary shaft. On the rotary shaft is coupled a support frame member through a universal joint. The rotary shaft is driven by the motor to turn a reflection mirror held on the support frame member over a predetermined angle while tracking the sun.
