A binder resin composition, and an electrode for nonaqueous electrolyte energy devices and a nonaqueous electrolyte energy device including the binder resin composition. The binder resin composition includes a copolymer that contains a repeat unit derived from a nitrile group-containing monomer; a repeat unit derived from a monomer represented by Formula (I) (wherein Ris H or CH; Ris H or monovalent hydrocarbonyl group; and n is an integer from 1 to 50) and/or a repeat unit derived from a monomer represented by Formula (II) (wherein Ris H or CHand Ris hydrogen or Calkyl); and optionally a repeat unit derived from a carboxyl group-containing monomer.

Binder resin composition for nonaqueous electrolyte energy device electrode, nonaqueous electrolyte energy device electrode, and nonaqueous electrolyte energy device

A color cathode ray tube has an electron gun in its neck portion. Its focus electrodes and anode are fixed by two insulating support rods. A voltage-dividing resistor is disposed in the vicinity of one of the insulating support rods for producing an intermediate voltage applied to a first one of the focus electrodes adjacent to the anode by dividing an anode voltage. The voltage-dividing resistor includes an insulating film, a resistance pattern, an insulating substrate, and a second film containing an oxide of transition metal, in the order named from the insulating film toward the inner wall of the neck portion. A metal conductor surrounding the voltage-dividing resistor and the one of the insulating support rods is fixed to a second one of the focus electrodes which is disposed upstream of the first one of the focus electrodes in a path of the electron beams.

Color cathode ray tube having an internal voltage-dividing resistor

A color cathode ray tube has an electron gun in its neck portion. The electron gun includes plural focus electrodes and an anode fixed in axially spaced relationship by two support rods. The electron gun also includes a voltage-dividing resistor for producing a voltage applied to a first focus electrode by dividing a voltage applied to the anode, and a metal conductor surrounding the resistor and fixed to a second focus electrode upstream of the first focus electrode. The resistor is disposed in the vicinity of one of the support rods, is formed of an insulating film, a resistance pattern, and a substrate disposed in the order named from the insulating film toward the neck portion. The resistance pattern is such that a potential difference between the metal conductor and a portion of the resistance pattern facing the metal conductor is equal to or smaller than 4 kV.

A thermoresistance adhesive which does not dissolve in the sealer-composing resins at the sealer molding temperature and is capable of providing a semiconductor chip/lead frame adhesive strength under shear of 1 N/4 mm or greater, and including, for example, amide, imide, ester or ether linkage is suited for use in producing thermoresistance adhesive solutions and thermoresistance resin pastes, and the semiconductor chips, lead frames, films, etc., made by using such an adhesive are suited for providing low-cost semiconductor devices.

An epoxy-modified polyamide resin obtained by reacting a diisocyanate(A) with at least one member selected from the group consisting of a dicarboxylic acid and a tricarboxylic acid anhydride (B) in a nitrogen-containing aprotic solvent to form a polyamide resin intermediate and reacting this polyamide resin intermediate with an epoxy resin (C) in the nitrogen-containing aprotic solvent. This epoxy-modified polyamide resin has a high molecular weight and can provide a film with excellent heat resistance and flexibility, and its composition can be used as a coating material, adhesive or such in the form as it is.

A photosensitive resin composition comprising, as its main ingredient, a poly(amic acid) resin constituted of a diamino compound represented by formula: ##STR1## and optionally used other diamino compound and a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride as its constituent monomers and/or a poly(amic acid) ester resin obtained by esterifying said poly(amic acid) resin and/or a polyimide resin obtained by a dehydrating or alcohol-eliminating ring-closure reaction of said poly(amic acid) resin or poly(amic acid) ester resin has an excellent developability and a high film strength and can form a relief patter of low thermal expansion.

The liquid crystal display element of this invention includes a pair of substrates oppositely disposed with a gap therebetween, and a liquid crystal layer placed in said gap, at least one of said substrates being transparent, and said liquid crystal layer having a liquid crystal region, and a polymer wall surrounded by said liquid crystal region, wherein said liquid crystal layer includes a liquid crystal material, a polymeric polymer material, and the above-described polymeric compound. The liquid crystal display element prepared from the polymeric compound of this invention does not cause disclination lines, and has bright characteristics in the absence of an electric voltage.
