An image-generating system for generating data of an image on the basis of data of a photographic image obtained by capturing an image of an object. The image-generating system includes a color sample to be arranged in the proximity of an object, an illumination unit, an image pick-up unit, a color sample specifying unit and an image processing unit. The illumination unit can illuminate the object and the color sample with light lower in light quantity than ordinary light. The image pick-up unit obtains a photographic image by capturing an image of the object together with the color sample illuminated by the illumination unit. The color sample specifying unit specifies the color sample in the photographic image. The image processing unit converts colors of the object in the photographic image, taking the color sample specified by the color sample specifying unit as a reference.

A floor panel having a rectangular floor base integrally with a convex prop in each corner portion and a concave portion on the upper surface of each prop. There is a height adjusting screw with a plate embedded in the concave portion of each prop, variably for adjusting the height of the support position in a predetermined range between a position lower than the upper surface of the prop and a position higher than the upper surface of the prop. A floor panel is supported by each prop of the floor base and has through holes for accessing the height adjusting screw for adjusting the support height at each corner according to the prop. In the method of manufacturing the floor base, a convex portion, which integrally projects to the upper surface side on four corners of a skin, is formed, a concave portion is formed on the lower surface of said convex portion, concrete is packed in the concave portion, thereby forming which is integral to said skin.

A numerical control machine comprises a headstock rotatably supporting a spindle for a workpiece and a tool rest assembly in front of the headstock. The tool rest assembly includes a first pair of tool rests which are disposed on both sides of the longitudinal axis of the headstock spindle and are simultaneously movable in a first direction perpendicular to the spindle axis, and a second tool rest which is movable in both second and third directions perpendicular to the spindle axis. Either the headstock or the tool rest assembly is movable in a fourth direction along the spindle axis. A bar stock feeder for an automatic lathe, comprises a cover tube provided adjacent a rear side of a spindle of the automatic lathe, and a rod guide tube is provided in the cover tube. A push rod is slidably mounted in the rod guide tube in order to feed a bar stock to the lathe. The push rod is moved by a chain driven by sprocket wheels. In a numerically controlled lathe, two guide bars are located in front of a headstock and extending parallel to the axis of a spindle to guide a saddle theroen. A cross slide is slidably supported by a guideway of the saddle to move a pair of turret heads in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the spindle. A compound lathe in which a headstock is horizontally movable along a spindle axis to provide longitudinal feeding of a workpiece mounted for rotation with the spindle and a saddle carrying a turret is vertically movable to provide transverse feeding. The saddle is slidably disposed on vertical guideways which is formed on a column mounted on a bed at the back of the headstock rearwardly of cutting areas of the workpiece and which vertically extends in a plane parallel to the axis of the spindle.
