A steering control device is configured to control a steering device that changes a transmission ratio between an operation angle of an operation member and a steering angle of a steerable wheel. The steering control device includes: communication lines for transmitting vehicle speed information; and calculators communicably connected to each other and individually connected to the communication lines. Each calculator calculates the transmission ratio based on the vehicle speed information received via a corresponding one of the communication lines and determines whether the received vehicle speed information is valid. When at least one of the calculators determines that the vehicle speed information is not valid, each calculator changes control for calculating the transmission ratio from a vehicle-speed responsive control in which the transmission ratio is calculated based on the vehicle speed information to a specific control in which the transmission ratio is calculated not based on the vehicle speed information.

Steering control device

A steer-by-wire steering system including a steering device including a steering motor and a controller configured to supply a steering current to the steering motor based on a steering request. The controller includes a plurality of microcomputers, a plurality of drive circuits, and a plurality of temperature sensors. When a detection temperature difference that is a difference between detection temperatures of any two of the plurality of temperature sensors is greater than a predetermined threshold, each of the plurality of microcomputers executes an independent calculation control to independently calculate and set a current limit value, which is an upper limit value of the steering current, based on a detection temperature of one of the plurality of temperature sensors corresponding to itself, irrespective of detection temperatures of one or more of the plurality of temperature sensors other than the one of the plurality of temperature sensors corresponding to itself.

Steer-by-wire steering system

A steering control device includes a first calculator configured to calculate a first axial force, a second calculator, and a third calculator configured to calculate a third axial force. The third calculator is configured to, when a specific situation occurs in which a current of a turning motor has to be limited, decrease a reflection degree of the first axial force in the third axial force and increase a reflection degree of the second axial force in the third axial force.

A steering control device includes a processor configured to execute a reaction force control process. The reaction force control process includes a reaction force torque calculation process of calculating a reaction force torque operation amount. The reaction force torque calculation process includes a deviation compensation calculation process of calculating a deviation-compensating component. The deviation compensation calculation process includes a process of calculating a positional deviation, a process of calculating the deviation-compensating component based on the positional deviation, and a process of switching among a plurality of calculation states for calculating the deviation-compensating component. The process of switching among the calculation states is a process of permitting switching among the calculation states on the condition that a permission condition is met. The permission condition is met based on an operation amount that varies in association with a driver's operation of an operation member.

Steering control device and steering control method

A steering system includes a steering operation shaft in which power transmission to and from a steering wheel is disabled and that steers a steered wheel of a vehicle, a steering operation motor that generates a steering operation force that is a torque applied to the steering operation shaft so as to steer the steered wheel, and a control device that controls the steering operation motor. When a rotation position of the steering wheel is different from a rotation position corresponding to a steered position of the steered wheel, the control device executes a process for correcting the steered position of the steered wheel to a position corresponding to the rotation position of the steering wheel through the steering operation motor.

Steering system

A steering control device includes a base axial force calculator, a limiting axial force calculator, and a final axial force calculator. The limiting axial force calculator includes a steering angle holder, a reference angle calculator, a final difference calculator, and an axial force calculator. The steering angle holder is configured to hold a steering angle at the time of limiting a turning operation of the turning wheels when the turning operation is limited. The reference angle calculator is configured to calculate a reference angle. The final difference calculator is configured to calculate a final difference which is a final difference between the reference angle and the current steering angle. The axial force calculator is configured to calculate a limiting axial force based on a value of the final difference.

A steering control device controls, as a target, a steering device including a steering actuator and a turning actuator that has a structure with a power transmission path cut off from the steering actuator. The steering control device includes a control unit. The control unit is configured to execute; turning-side synchronization control when the absolute value of a deviation amount is a value within a first range; steering-side synchronization control when the absolute value of the deviation mount is a value within a second range that is a larger value than a value within the first range; and at least one of the turning-side synchronization control and the steering-side synchronization control when the absolute value of the deviation amount is a value within a third range that is a value between a value within the first range and a value within the second range.

Control calculation units of a back system in each actuator operate by a collaborative drive mode in which a torque is output to a motor drive unit by using an information transmitted and received mutually by a communication between the systems in common. Cooperative control calculation units in a reaction force actuator and a turning actuator can operate in cooperation with each other based on the information transmitted and received mutually by a communication between actuators. A communication between adjacent systems and a communication between adjacent actuators are restored, when a focus control calculation unit is restored, after the focus control calculation unit is stopped during operation and at least one of the communication between adjacent systems or the communication between adjacent actuators is interrupted.

Motor drive system

A steering system includes a steering shaft that rotates along with an operation of a steering wheel; a motor configured to generate a torque that is applied to the steering shaft; and a control unit configured to control the motor. The control unit is configured to control the motor such that a rotation speed of the steering wheel decreases gradually to zero when automatic rotation of the steering wheel is stopped, in a case where the steering wheel is automatically rotated as an adjustment process of adjusting a rotational position of the steering wheel.

A control device includes control circuits of a plurality of systems. When a transition condition is established, the control circuits of the systems make transition of a driving mode from a first driving mode to a second driving mode, and when a return condition is established in a state in which the driving mode has transitioned to the second driving mode, the control circuits of the systems make transition of the driving mode from the second driving mode to the first driving mode while gradually changing the current command values of the control circuits' own systems toward the current command values before the adjustment.

Control device for vehicle

A first actuator and a second actuator each have a plurality of control calculation units provided redundantly and a plurality of motor drive units provided redundantly. In the first and the second actuators, the control calculation units of the systems paired with each other transmit and receive information to and from each other by a communication between the actuators. When a failure occurs in any system in either of the two actuators, or when a failure occurs in a communication between actuators in either system, the control calculation unit of each actuator of the system in which the failure occurred stops the motor drive control. Then, the motor drive control is continued by the control calculation unit of the normal system in both actuators.

A steer-by-wire steering system for a vehicle, including: an operating device including a steering operating member, a counterforce applying mechanism configured to apply, to the steering operating member, an operation counterforce by a counterforce motor, and an operating controller configured to control the operation counterforce; a steering device including a steering actuator configured to steer a wheel by a steering motor and a steering controller configured to control an amount of steering of the wheel by the steering actuator; and a communication line communicably connecting the operating controller and the steering controller, wherein the steering controller is configured to: determine a status code based on a status of the steering device; and transmit the status code to the operating controller via the communication line; and wherein the operating controller is configured to change a magnitude of the operation counterforce in accordance with the status code received by the operating controller.

A steering control device includes a control unit configured to control at least an operation of a steering-side motor. The control unit is configured to calculate a target reaction torque; calculate a difference axial force that is used to limit steering for turning the turning wheels in a predetermined direction, the difference axial force being reflected in the target reaction torque; and set a reference angle to one of a steering angle and a turning angle, set a converted angle to an angle obtained by converting another of the steering angle and the turning angle according to a steering angle ratio, and calculate the difference axial force based on a difference between the reference angle and the converted angle.

A steering system includes a steering shaft; a motor configured to generate a torque applied to the steering shaft; and a control unit configured to control the motor. The control unit has a function of performing steering angle feedback control for causing a steering angle that is a rotation angle of a steering wheel to reach a target steering angle that is set based on a point of view of adjusting a rotational position of the steering wheel, as an adjustment process of adjusting the rotational position of the steering wheel. The control unit is configured to set a limit value for limiting a change range of the target steering angle with respect to the steering angle at each moment in a period in which automatic rotation of the steering wheel is hindered in a case where the automatic rotation is hindered while the adjustment process is being performed.

A steering system includes a steering shaft; a reaction motor; and a control unit configured to control the reaction motor. The control unit has a function of performing a correction process of rotating the steering wheel using the reaction motor such that a displacement in a rotational position of the steering wheel with respect to a correct rotational position corresponding to a turning position of the turning wheels decreases when a power supply of the vehicle is turned on and the rotational position of the steering wheel is different from the correct rotational position. The control unit is configured to perform the correction process when the displacement is equal to or greater than a predetermined permissible value and not to perform the correction process when the displacement is less than the permissible value.
