The weld line data generation device includes: a recording unit in which possibility information indicating possibility of welding by the welding robot is recorded for each combination of configuration names of members; an extraction unit configured to extract a combination of two or more adjacent members from three-dimensional data of a structure to be manufactured by welding; and a generation unit configured to generate, when a combination of configuration names corresponding to the extracted combination of two or more members is weldable, the weld line data specifying a portion to be welded between the two or more members corresponding to the combination.

This method for acquiring weld pass information pertaining to execution conditions for a weld pass for welding two workpieces, which are to be welded by the welding robot, includes: a step in which a weld pass for welding the two workpieces is extracted from 3D CAD data; a step in which a wall determination model having a predetermined 3D shape is prepared; a step in which the wall determination model is positioned in the direction extending towards the outside of the weld pass, the end of welding which is the starting point or ending point of the weld pass serving as a reference; and a step in which, for the positioned wall determination model, a determination is made as to whether there is interference from a wall surface demarcated by another member different from the two workpieces.

Method for acquiring weld pass information and welding robot system

A welding device for automatically welding a workpiece by a welding robot using a welding wire includes a welding control device that controls operation and welding work of the welding robot. The welding control device includes a sensing unit configured to detect a position of the workpiece, a root gap calculating unit configured to determine a root gap, and a storage unit including wire melting information as a database of a proper welding current corresponding to a feeding rate for each of the welding wire. A lamination pattern and a welding condition are provided in accordance with the root gap determined by the root gap calculating unit and the wire melting information so that an amount of heat input is equal to or less than a predetermined amount of heat input.

A welding and processing condition setting system includes an input device, a display device, a control device, and a database. The input device receives a retrieving operation of at least processing condition information input by an operator. The control device is configured to extract a processing condition parameter of the processing condition information from at least one of master condition data and user condition data according to the retrieving operation, extract a welding condition parameter of welding condition information corresponding to the extracted processing condition parameter from at least one of the master condition data and the user condition data, and calculate an evaluation item which is a result obtained by evaluating at least one of a welding amount and a working efficiency in the extracted welding condition parameters.
