A component suction device includes a suction nozzle for sucking and holding a component, a nozzle turning device for holding the suction nozzle and turning the suction nozzle, and a nozzle up-and-down device which is located above the nozzle turning device and which is connected to the suction nozzle for moving up and down the suction nozzle along an axial direction of the suction nozzle.

A component mounting apparatus has an intermittently rotated rotary mounting section which has a driver at an upper part for driving motors of mounting heads arranged on periphery of the rotary mounting section. System for inspecting an apparatus of a printed circuit board

When electrodes on an electronic component and electrode portions on a circuit board are joined via bumps with the electronic component and the circuit board vibrated respectively, a vibration damping detect device and a deciding device detect damping of the vibration caused by a progress of joining between the bumps and the electrode portions, and then determine a good or defective of the joining on a basis of the damping of the vibration. Further, regarding an impedance of an ultrasonic oscillator, a movement amount of a nozzle, or a current supplying to a VCM, these waveforms during the joining are compared with waveforms of good joining thereof and then the good or defective is determined. According to the above constructions, the good or defective of the joining between the electronic component and the circuit board can be determined during the joining. Further, when a joining state becomes wrong during the joining, the joining state can be changed. Thus generation of defective components is prevented and a yield can be improved.

A mounting state of a component mounted on a printed circuit board with adhesive is inspected by an apparatus which includes an image pick-up unit for picking up in colors an image of the board after the component is mounted, a color extracting part for discriminating an adhesive portion of the image based on a predetermined color distribution of the adhesive and then extracting the adhesive portion as extracted data, a cutting part for setting a window frame for a to-be-inspected portion in the image of the board relative to the extracted data so as to detect bulging of the adhesive, and cutting out data within the window frame, and a deciding part for deciding, based on the cut data, a presence/absence of the bulging of the adhesive from a size or an area of a portion in the window frame which shows a color within the color distribution of the adhesive.

A burner has first and second nozzles communicated with a combustion chamber and defined in a wall structure surrounding the combustion chamber. The first and second nozzles are opposed to each other and positioned adjacent an exit opening of a fuel supply passage that is defined in the wall structure. The burner also has first and second secondary air supply ports defined in the wall structure adjacent the exit of the combustion chamber in opposition to each other.

Burner having primary and secondary combustion chambers

A burner includes a number of flame ports each having a fuel supply passage and provided on a pair of opposite walls of a combustion chamber such that each of the walls and the fuel supply passages define a cooling passage. In the burner, a wide stable flame region is achieved at a high excess air ratio, the amount of NOx produced is reduced and backfire is prevented by cooling the fuel supply passages. Furthermore, a flame area per unit area of each flame port is increased such that the burner can effect high-load combustion.

Combustion apparatus

In a pulse combustion apparatus, a plurality of identical pulse burners are employed such that a total amount of fuel to be burned is divided into equal amounts which are assigned to respective pulse burners. Either cushion chambers or tail pipes of the pulse burners are arranged to communicate with each other via one or more communicating passages so that interaction occurs in connection with pressure in the exhaust systems of the plurality of pulse burners. The interaction between combustion chambers causes the timings of combustion in the plurality of pulse burners to be synchronized, thus suppressing the occurrence of uncomfortable beat. In some embodiments, a sound-insulating mechanism is employed in each cushion chamber so that propagation of combustion sound to downstream side is effectively suppressed while the heat exchanging coefficient is simultaneously increased. In a further embodiment, sound-absorption materials are used in air pipes and air chambers of each pulse burner for effectively preventing propagation of combustion sound to upstream side.
