A coil component according to one or more embodiments of the present invention includes: an insulating base body having a bottom surface; a coil conductor disposed in the base body and having a coil surface opposed to the bottom surface; and a reinforcement portion disposed in the base body. The reinforcement portion is disposed at a position closer to the bottom surface than is a middle point between the bottom surface and the coil surface.

Coil component

Disclosed is a laminated inductor that has good direct current superimposition characteristics, does not cause a variation in temperature characteristics, suppresses the occurrence of delamination, and can be stably manufactured. Also disclosed are a method for manufacturing the laminated inductor and a laminated choke coil. A laminated inductor () for use as a choke coil in a power supply circuit includes a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped laminated chip () and at least one pair of external electrodes () that are provided at the end of the laminated chip () and are conductively connected to the end of a coil. The laminated chip () includes a plurality of magnetic material layers () formed of an Ni&#x2014;Zn&#x2014;Cu ferrite, a plurality of conductive layers (), which are laminated through the magnetic material layers () to constitute a coil, and at least one nonmagnetic layer () formed of a Ti&#x2014;Ni&#x2014;Cu&#x2014;Mn&#x2014;Zr&#x2014;Ag-base dielectric material and formed in contact with a plurality of the magnetic material layers ().

Laminated inductor, method for manufacturing the laminated inductor, and laminated choke coil

A multilayer inductor having a uniformly improved direct current superposition property and an increased inductance value is disclosed. The multilayer inductor contains a laminate of a plurality of first insulating layers and a plurality of conductive layers, and the conductive layers and through hole conductors are connected to form a helical coil in the laminate. A second insulating layer which has a magnetic permeability lower than those of the first insulating layers is disposed such that it crosses an inner magnetic path of the helical coil, and a margin of the second insulating layer overlaps with the conductive layer in the stacking direction and is in contact with the conductive layer in the overlap portion. The magnetic flux density in the laminate is likely to be highest in the overlap portion, and thus, the highest-density magnetic flux passes through the second insulating layer inevitably, whereby the direct current superposition property can be uniformly improved.

Multilayer inductor

A composite joystick switch has easy and positive operability. The joystick has a shaft and is provided with a plurality of switches operable by a user's fingers. A housing with a through-hole receives the joystick shaft and a plurality of second switches are provided around the through-hole outside or inside the housing. A guide plate is provided on the upper surface of the housing. A shell bearing supported in the housing receives a core bearing supported in the shell. Both are pivotally mounted in perpendicular directions. The joystick shaft extends through the guide slot in the shell bearing and is secured to the core bearing. A switch control is provided at a portion of the joystick shaft extending beyond the fulcrum of the joystick to turn on and off second switches. A seat is provided opposite to the switch control. A spring is provided around the joystick shaft between the seat and switch control to automatically return to its neutral position the joystick once tilted.

Composite switch

A joystick controller sufficiently strong and durable not to easily be broken even when handled somehow roughly, reasonably compact and which can be manufactured with less costs, is provided by composing it of a housing provided thereon with a plurality of potentiometers, a hollow shell bearing born inside the housing rotatably in one direction and which has a first pair of auxiliary arms attached on either side thereof and extending outwardly; an intermediate bearing born inside the shell bearing rotatably in a direction orthogonal to the shell bearing; a joystick attached rockably on the intermediate bearing and extending upwardly of the housing through a first pair of guide slots formed in the shell bearing; a core bearing pivoted inside the intermediate bearing rotatably in a same direction as the intermediate bearing; and a second pair of auxiliary arms attached on the core bearing, extending in a direction orthogonal to the first pair of auxiliary arms through an aperture formed in the intermediate bearing and a second guide slot formed in a direction orthogonal to the first pair of guide slots in the shell bearing and rockably born inside the housing; and coupling the first and second pairs of auxiliary arms to rotating shafts of the potentiometers respectively.

Joystick controller

An eight-way joystick control system is disclosed. The joystick comprises a control shaft having a handle end adapted for grasping and deflection of the control shaft by a user, and pivot defining a fixed point about which the control shaft is deflected at the handle end by the user. The control shaft has a central neutral position and eight control sector positions spaced radially around the neutral position. An indicator is included that produces a distinctive electrical signal when the control shaft is in each of the control sector positions. A control structure defines a deflection limit of the control shaft in an octagon shaped deflection pattern with eight corners. Each corner corresponds to one of the eight control sector positions such that when the control shaft is deflected into any one of the eight corners the control shaft is positioned in the corresponding control sector position. The control structure provides for a smooth unimpeded deflection limit between the corners, and provides a stop for tactile feedback to the user indicating that the control shaft is in the control sector position corresponding to a corner.
