A control equipment with a built-in communication apparatus is provided which realizes a delay required for communication without a software intervention while at the same time reducing a load of the communication processing. The control equipment with a communication apparatus includes: a communication device to communicate with a plurality of destinations; and a decision device to determine a mode requiring a reception completion interrupt and a mode not requiring the reception completion interrupt. If the decision device decides that the reception completion interrupt is not necessary, the communication device transmits data to one or more destinations and also virtually transmits data to a second destination different from the first intended destination.

A thermal air flow rate measuring apparatus of great precision wherein sensitivity is enhanced by sensors having different output characteristics and an operating device employing a digitized signal. The sensitivity and temperature can be corrected easily depending on the flow direction of fluid. The measuring apparatus includes at least one heating resistor disposed in a gas fluid, temperature detecting resistors formed at an upstream part and a downstream part of the heating resistor in the flow direction of the fluid, a device for outputting at least two signals relating to the flow rate of the fluid, a quantizing device for quantizing the output values, and an operating device for operating the flow rate based on the quantized signals.

By employing command value signals for controlling the opening timing of an exhaust valve or an intake valve and means for measuring flow rates of an intake air of a flow direction which flows through an intake manifold of an internal combustion engine, an air flow rate corresponding to the command value signal is measured. A valve mechanism includes the intake valve and the exhaust valve for each cylinder of the internal combustion engine and is controlled by a valve control means for controlling the valve mechanism. A failure diagnosis of an operating status of the valve mechanism can be performed.

Apparatus of diagnosing an internal combustion engine and a method of diagnosing of an internal combustion engine

An air flow measuring apparatus, is of a type converting digital values Vadc having a non-linearity characteristic to a flow rate in air flow rate conversion processing. The apparatus, is provided with voltage output conversion processing, uses a QV map formed on a PROM, and is formed so as to obtain a voltage output signal Vout having a property equivalent to a signal Vin outputted from a sensor circuit by converting a smoothed signal Qaf into a voltage value having a non-linearity characteristic.

Air flow measuring apparatus

In a heating resistor type air flow measurement apparatus, flow correction data are read out from a primary memory and stored in a secondary memory, and then an air flow signal is calibrated by the flow correction data stored in the secondary memory when starting the apparatus up. The apparatus has a diagnosis unit, for determining whether or not the flow correction data stored in the primary memory are correct, so that the determination processing of the flow correction data by the diagnosis unit is performed at any time at least including the starting-up point of the apparatus. There is no fear that engine control based on abnormal flow correction data will continue.

Air flow measurement apparatus

In flow detection by a thermal-type flow measuring instrument, a flow rate valve with reduced measurement error due to temperature variation can be obtained even under environment where a fluid temperature and a circuit temperature are different. A measurement error due to temperature variation of the fluid of the thermal-type flow measuring instrument can be corrected on the basis of a temperature of the fluid by adjusting the measurement error to be constant ratio irrespective of the flow rate. On the other hand, a temperature characteristic of the circuit is adjusted to be substantially zero %.

An anti-skid brake control device has a control circuit 6 to which signals from a steering angle sensor 14, a yaw detector 7 and respective wheel velocity sensors 3a.about.3d of a motor vehicle are inputted, an oil pressure actuator 5 controls of the pressure of the braking fluid for respective wheel cylinders 2a.about.2d based upon target slip rates Sfrt. Sflt, Srrt and Srlt and measured slip rates Sfr, Sfl, Srr and Srl for the respective wheels calculated in the control circuit 6. The target slip rates for the respective wheels, which are principally determined dependent upon the deviation .beta. between compensated target yaw angular acceleration .omega.R and measured yaw angular acceleration .omega., are set independently and are modified dependent upon the motor vehicle body velocity, whereby the braking forces for the respective wheels are independently controlled . In this way, it is possible to suppress generated yaw moment and to improve stability of the motor vehicle, while also safely reducing the braking distance.

Anti-skid brake control device

A throttle valve position controlling apparatus comprises a motor serving to adjust the opening degree of a throttle valve disposed in an intake pipe of an engine, an air flow sensor attached to the intake pipe so as to detect an intake air amount, and a throttle control unit which is operative to obtain a deviation between a command air amount set beforehand and the intake air amount detectd by the air flow sensor and to effect a feed back control on the motor so as to minimize the deviation to zero. A slip controlling apparatus comprises revolution sensors for detecting the number of revolutions of driving wheels and driven wheels of a car, a slip control unit which has a table in which command air amounts are set beforehand in correspondence with the degree of slip and is operative to judge whether or not the car is in the state of slip from the results of detection by the revolution sensors and to retrieve the table, when the car is in the state of slip, so as to obtain a command air amount corresponding to the judged degree of slip.

Throttle valve position controlling apparatus and slip controlling

An electronic throttle valve opening control system provides an actuating D.C. motor for opening or closing the throttle valve and a control circuit for controlling the D.C. motor current in response to the difference between the detected real throttle valve opening and a target value of the throttle valve opening. In addition to the above difference signal, the D.C. motor is controlled by a first correction quantity signal in accordance with variation of the detected throttle valve opening and a second correction quantity signal in accordance with the friction force existing in a valve opening control mechanism.

Electronic throttle valve opening control method and system therefor

Disclosed is a method and apparatus for controlling a throttle valve driven by a D.C. motor in an internal combustion engine, in which the D.C. motor is driven until a valve position sensor detecting the angular position of the throttle valve generates an output signal which coincides with the output signal of an accelerator pedal sensor detecting the amount of depression of an accelerator pedal of a vehicle. The value of motor current required for causing very slight displacement of a return spring provided for returning the throttle valve toward a predetermined angular position is utilized for automatically compensating various factors of fluctuation attributable to friction, inertia, etc. of means driving the throttle valve. A small-capacity microprocessor is used to control the D.C. motor so that the throttle valve can operate with high accuracy and high-speed response capability without being adversely affected by changes in the operating condition as well as secular variations.
