An electronic device having a configuration which has an operation body formed in substantially a flat shape and in which a side wall of a lower case is brought into elastic contact with an upper case, and a switch provided on a circuit board is sealed in space formed by the circuit board, the side wall and the operation body. A flange that increases the size of the outer shape of the operation body is not required to be formed, it is possible to obtain an electronic device having dustproof and waterproof performances and having a small size.

The rotation of the bearing element ( ) is suppressed by a predetermined force. Thus the rotation of the motor ( ) is decelerated, and the cylindrical roller is rotated at a reduced speed. By rotating the bearing element with a force greater than a predetermined force, the cylindrical roller can be rotated manually.

Roller device and electronics using the roller device

A thermal line printer usable as a small output terminal. A printer body has a platen roller rotatably supported by a casing having side plates on either side thereof. A line-printing type thermal head is swingably supported by the printer body while being resiliently urged toward the platen roller. This arrangement allows the thermal head to be easily mounted on and dismounted from the printer body.
