The first light-emitting layer is higher in light-emission start voltage than each of the second light-emitting layer and the third light-emitting layer. The second light-emitting layer is higher in visibility of the emission color than each of the first light-emitting layer and the third light-emitting layer. The electroluminescence layer has an inter-pixel section between an adjacent pair of the openings and along the upper surface of the insulation layer. The inter-pixel section between the first opening and the second opening has a first resistance value. The inter-pixel section between the second opening and the third opening has a second resistance value. The inter-pixel section between the third opening and the first opening has a third resistance value. The first resistance value is larger than each of the second resistance value and the third resistance value.

The present invention provides a novel method for supplying a reducing gas to the shaft part of a blast furnace with which a large amount of reducing gas containing hydrogen at a high concentration can be supplied to a deeper position in the blast furnace (location of the blast furnace closer to the center axis in the radial direction) and with which it is possible to reduce the total generated amount of COof the COamount that is reduced by conducting hydrogen smelting in the blast furnace and the COamount that is generated during production of the reducing gas supplied to the blast furnace. The method for supplying a reducing gas to the shaft part of a blast furnace according to the present invention is characterized by reforming coke oven gas by increasing the temperature thereof to 1200 to 1800&#xb0; C. in a reactor in which an oxygen-containing gas is supplied to preheated coke oven gas to generate reformed gas in which hydrogen gas is enriched; mixing the reformed gas with CO-containing gas in the reactor so that the hydrogen concentration of the reducing gas is adjusted to 15-35 vol % (wet); and supplying the resultant reducing gas to the shaft part of the blast furnace under a condition of a ratio of a flow rate of reducing gas blown into shaft part/flow rate of reducing gas blown into tuyere &#x3e;0.42.

Method for supplying hydrogen-containing reducing gas to shaft part of blast furnace

In an embodiment, a color filter substrate includes an substrate, first to fifth lines, first to third switching elements, first to third electrodes, color filter layer between electrodes and the substrate, and insulating layer with first to third apertures. The first electrode is formed in a first area defined by lines at the first line side, and the second electrode is formed in the first area at the second line side. The third electrode is formed in a second area defined by lines. Electrodes are connected to switching elements through apertures respectively. Color filter substrate and display device

A provided is a liquid crystal display device with a high definition screen and less color mixture. Display device and manufacturing method thereof

Disclosed is a liquid crystal display device including an active element substrate having an active element; a first layer provided on the active element and having a first hole formed therein, the first layer being one of a first insulating layer and a color filter; a second layer provided on the first layer and having a second hole formed therein, the second layer being the other of the first insulating layer and the color filter; a common electrode provided on the second layer; a second insulating layer having a plate-like portion provided on the common electrode and a first contact portion protruded downward; and a pixel electrode having a second contact portion protruded downward. The first contact portion is provided inside the second hole, and the second contact portion is provided inside the first hole and inside the second hole and electrically connected to the active element.

Liquid crystal display device

When an intermittent driving mode is carried out in a TFT using LIPS and &#x3b1;-Si for a pixel transistor, a flicker easily occurs. A display device includes a TFT including a gate, a source, and a drain; a signal line connected to the source; a pixel capacitance connected to the drain; a first power supply configured to supply a potential that breaks electricity conducted between the source and the drain to the gate; and a switch configured to supply a potential of the first power supply to the gate. The display device includes a scan period and a dwell period. The switch is turned on in the scan period, and the switch is turned off in the dwell period.

Display device with gate floating for reducing flicker

According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device includes an array substrate, a counter substrate, a liquid crystal layer and a driving unit. The driving unit is configured to perform polarity inversion driving by applying, to the pixel electrode, positive and negative video signals. When applying the video signals to the pixel electrode, the driving unit superposes a correction signal corresponding to a polarity inversion frequency and the gray level on the video signals in advance.

Liquid crystal display device and method of driving the same

A high-precision display device is capable of suppressing a leak current and operating at a low power consumption. The display device comprises a source power supply for providing a pixel electric potential to each pixel placed on a substrate through a first thin-film transistor; a gate power supply for controlling conductive and nonconductive states of the first thin-film transistor; and a second thin-film transistor disposed between the first thin-film transistor and the gate power supply, the second thin-film transistor being controllable independently of the first thin-film transistor.

Display device

A display device includes a first light shielding part provided between a filter film and a first electrode, and a second light shielding part provided on a second substrate. A color filter substrate includes an insulating substrate, a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, a third pixel electrode, a first color filter disposed between the first pixel electrode and the insulating substrate, a second color filter disposed between the second pixel electrode and the insulating substrate, and a third color filter disposed between the third pixel electrode and the insulating substrate, wherein the first pixel electrode, the second pixel electrode, and the third pixel electrode are adjacent to each other, the first color filter has a first end, the second color filter has a second end, and the third color filter has a third end, and two of the first end, the second end, and the third end overlap in the first overlap area.
