In a shift device, as a result of lower sliding projections of a lever moving slidingly against lower sliding plates of soft materials, the slidability of the lever is improved. Moreover, as a result of restricting projections of the lever being abutted against stoppers of the soft materials, noise generated when a sliding motion of the lever is restricted is reduced. Additionally, because the lower sliding plates and the stoppers are formed integrally with each other, the structure can be simplified.

Shift device

A shift device for a vehicle includes: a shift body that is moved in a predetermined range in a first direction and in a second direction that is a direction opposite from the first direction, and whose shift position is changed; and a moving mechanism that has a moving member at which a first moving portion and a second moving portion are provided, the first moving portion moving the shift body in the first direction, and the second moving portion moving the shift body in the second direction, due to movement of the moving member.

Shift device for vehicle

A shift lever device is provided with retention frames at a front side and rear side of a lever, and a plate is provided with blocks at the front side and rear side of the lever. Even if the plate and the lever are installed to a vehicle with the front side and rear side of the plate and the lever reversed, changing the retention frame that retains a detent rod enables the block on the side of the detent rod to restrict swinging of the detent rod, enabling swinging of the lever to be restricted. This thereby enables the plate and the lever to be commonly employed.

A shift device for a vehicle includes: a shift body that is moved and whose shift position is changed to a plurality of shift positions; a moving unit that moves the shift body; and a restricting body that restricts movement of the shift body by the moving unit at a predetermined shift position among the plurality of shift positions.

In a shift device, a lever is able to slide in a front-rear direction relative to a housing, and an FFC electrically connects a sensor substrate of the housing to an operating substrate of the lever. Here, the lever is moved slidingly in the front-rear direction, which is on a perpendicular direction side relative to a width direction of the FFC. Because of this, a reduction in the durability of the FFC can be inhibited.

At a shift lever device, at a time when a lever is rotated in a left-right direction, a joint of the lever moves a joint tube of a link in an up-down direction. Moreover, at a time when the lever is rotated in a front-rear direction, a link operating portion of the lever rotates an operation tube of the link in the front-rear direction around the joint side. Here, at the time when the lever is rotated in the left-right direction, the joint is moved in the left-right direction with respect to the joint tube. Therefore, the need to provide parts between the lever and the joint can be eliminated, and a number of parts can be reduced.

In a shift lever device, a first facing cavity and a second facing cavity of a lever, and a first facing hole and a second facing hole of a printed wiring board, respectively face each other when the lever is disposed in an 'H' position. Thus, in a state in which the lever is disposed in the 'H' position when the shift lever device is being assembled, the first facing cavity and the second facing cavity respectively face the first facing hole and the second facing hole, thereby enabling the accuracy of relative assembly positions of a magnet of the lever and detection elements of the printed wiring board to be increased, and enabling the detection accuracy of a shift position of the lever to be improved.

In a shift lever device, a detent rod is assembled to a lever main body, and when a detent pin of the detent rod engages with a detent body and rotation is stopped, a lever is restricted from rotating. When a button is press-operated, the detent rod is displaced, engagement of the detent pin with the detent body is released, and the lever is allowed to rotate. The detent rod is assembled to the outside of the lever main body. This enables to detent rod to be easily assembled to the lever main body.

In a shift lever device, when a lever is rotate-operated to an 'R' position or a 'D' position, a cushion of the lever abuts a stopper inside the housing, and the rotating operation of the lever is stopped. Note that when the lever is rotate-operated to the &#x201c;R&#x201d; position or the &#x201c;D&#x201d; position under a heavy load, a low rigidity plate and a low rigidity tube of the cushion undergo elastic deformation, and the high rigidity column of the cushion is sandwiched between the lever and the stopper. The rotating operation of the lever is thereby restricted. The high rigidity column is thereby able to effectively restrict the rotating operation of the lever.

In a shift lever device, a width dimension of left ribs and right ribs is set larger than a diameter dimension of a left support shaft portion and a right support shaft portion. In the event of an impact load being imparted to a shift lever in different directions to a control lever axial direction, the left rib and the right rib are broken in this impact load direction since the left rib and the right rib are formed so as to face the whole diameter of the left support shaft portion and the right support shaft portion. Impact load can accordingly be absorbed even in the event that an impact load is imparted to the shift lever in different directions to a control lever axial direction. Namely, impact load can be absorbed for impact load directions within a range of a specific angle. Dependency on the impact load direction is accordingly suppressed when absorbing an impact load imparted to the shift lever.

In a shift lever device (), due to a tilt shaft () being nipped between peripheral surfaces of lower supporting holes () of a shift lever plate () and peripheral surfaces of upper supporting holes (A) of a shift lever guide (), a shift lever () is supported so as to be able to tilt around the tilt shaft (). A shift position of the shift lever () is changed due to the shift lever () being tiltingly operated while being guided by a guide hole () of the shift lever guide () and passed within a passage hole () of a cover (). Here, the strength of the shift lever guide () is made to be large as compared with that of the cover (). Moreover, when load is inputted from the shift lever () to the shift lever guide (), rotation of the shift lever guide () is stopped by the shift lever plate (). Therefore, the shift lever () can be tiltably supported properly.

In a strength gate of a shift lever device, a shift hole is provided with an automatic transmission hole, a manual transmission hole, and a communication hole. The strength gate is provided with a peninsular portion that is adjacent to the automatic transmission hole, the manual transmission hole and the communication hole, and an opposing portion that is on the opposite side of the manual transmission hole to the peninsular portion. The peninsular portion is disposed to a front side with respect to the opposing portion. A reduction in the size of the peninsular portion along the vehicle left-right direction can accordingly be suppressed even if the strength gate is reduced in size along the vehicle left-right direction, thereby enabling a reduction in the strength of the peninsular portion to be suppressed.

In a shift lever device, a first engagement portion or a second engagement portion of a shift lever is inserted into a first stopping hole or a second stopping hole of a strength gate when the shift lever is turned along a manual transmission hole, thereby stopping the shift lever from turning towards an automatic transmission hole side. In the shift lever, the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion are disposed at the vehicle front side and the vehicle rear side of a support body. An increase in size of the shift lever in the vehicle left-right direction due to the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion can accordingly be suppressed, and the turning rage of the shift lever in the vehicle left-right direction can be made smaller, thereby enabling a reduction in size of the shift lever device in the vehicle left-right direction.
