A cutter roll and an anvil roll, with which it is possible to control deformation in the axial direction, and a rotary cutter having the same. A rollfor a rotary cutter includes: a barrel portion having a circumferential surface and a pair of end surfaces located respectively at opposite ends of the circumferential surface; a pair of first depressionshaving a ring shape or a cylindrical shape and located respectively at the pair of end surfaces of the barrel portion, the pair of first depressions each having a depth direction that is parallel to an axis of the barrel portion; a pair of first bearingslocated respectively in the pair of first depressions and being in contact with outer walls of the first depressions; and a pair of first bearing boxeslocated on an outside of the pair of first depressions and having support portionsto be in contact with a support frame or a pressure mechanism, the pair of first bearing boxes supporting the respective bearings.

A die cut roll includes a rotary driving roll having projecting pressure cutting blades on a surface thereof formed in accordance with the shape of a product to be cut to thereby form a die cutter and an anvil roll adapted to receive an edge of each of the projecting pressure cutting blades of the die cutter. The rotary driving roll includes inclined finishing surfaces formed adjacent to a top smooth portion of an edge of each of the projecting pressure cutting blades by a grinding process so that the inclined finishing surfaces have grinding flaws which make an angle &phgr; of 50&deg;-90&deg; to ridgelines defining the top smooth portion.

There is provided a turbo blower for lasers which is capable of effectively cooling a shaft and bearings thereof. Oil held in a shaft support member is drawn up via an oil inlet port by a centrifugal force generated by rotation of the shaft, and passes through a cooling oil passage extending through the shaft to be discharged from an oil outlet port provided below an upper one of rolling bearings as the bearings. The oil discharged from the outlet port returns via an oil return passage to an oil sump. While passing through the oil return passage, the oil is cooled by a coolant circulating through an coolant passage. Further, part of the oil discharged from the oil outlet port is supplied to the upper one of the bearings for lubrication. On the other hand, part of the oil held within the shaft support member is drawn up along a tapered portion of an oil suction head by the centrifugal force generated by rotation of the oil suction head for lubrication of a corresponding one of the rolling bearings. A large amount of oil flowing through the cooling oil passage can deprive the shaft and the rotor of heat, thereby effectively cooling the bearings as well.
