The processing device, which processes a member to be processed by irradiating the member to be processed with a laser, has: a laser oscillator having a plurality of vertical cavity surface-emitting laser diode chips that output laser light having a wavelength of 1,070 nm or less, and a substrate on the surface of which the plurality of vertical cavity surface-emitting laser diode chips are arranged in a matrix; a guidance optical system that guides the laser light output from the laser oscillator; and a control device that controls the output of the laser oscillator.

An object of the present invention is to provide a flue gas purifying device that can efficiently decrease nitrogen oxides in flue gas. This object is solved by including: an exhaust pipe that guides flue gas discharged from a burning appliance; a urea-water injecting unit that injects urea water into the exhaust pipe; a catalytic unit arranged on a downstream side to a position where urea water is injected in a flow direction of flue gas and having a urea SCR catalyst; a first ammonia-concentration measuring unit that measures a concentration of ammonia in flue gas at a measurement position in a region where the catalytic unit is arranged; a second ammonia-concentration measuring unit arranged on a downstream side to the catalytic unit in a flow direction of the flue gas, to measure a concentration of ammonia in the flue gas having passed through the urea SCR catalyst; and a control unit that controls injection of urea water by the urea-water injecting unit based on measurement results acquired by the first and second ammonia-concentration measuring units.

The combustion controller controls the fuel and air that are supplied to the combustion furnace for burning substances, and addresses the aforementioned object by including: fuel supply unit for supplying fuel and air into the combustion furnace; air supply unit for supplying air into the combustion furnace, the air supply unit being disposed downstream of the fuel supply unit in the direction of flow of combustion air; concentration measuring unit for measuring the concentration of hydrogen sulfide of the combustion air by passing a measurement beam of light through the combustion air at a measurement position downstream of the fuel supply unit in the direction of flow of the combustion air; and control unit for controlling the amount of air supplied from the fuel supply unit based on a measurement result provided by the concentration measuring unit.

An ammonia compound concentration measuring device includes: a pipe unit through which the circulating gas flows; a converter which is disposed in the pipe unit and converts an ammonia compound into ammonia; a measurement device which measures a first measurement value as a concentration of ammonia contained in a first circulating gas flowing inside a pipe line passing through the converter in the circulating gas flowing inside the pipe unit and a second measurement value as a concentration of ammonia contained in a second circulating gas flowing inside a pipe line not passing through the converter in the circulating gas flowing inside the pipe unit; and a controller which controls operations of the pipe unit and the measurement device and calculates the concentration of the ammonia compound of the measurement subject contained in the circulating gas from a difference between the first measurement value and the second measurement value.

Ammonia compound concentration measuring device and ammonia compound concentration measuring method

An object of the present invention is to provide a flue gas purifying device that can suppress leakage of ammonia and can efficiently decrease nitrogen oxides in flue gas. The object is achieved by a flue gas purifying device including: an exhaust pipe; a urea-water injecting unit that injects urea water into the exhaust pipe; a catalytic unit that includes a urea SCR catalyst that promotes a reaction between ammonia and nitrogen oxides and a support mechanism that supports the urea SCR catalyst in the exhaust pipe, and is arranged on a downstream side to a position where urea water is injected; a concentration measuring unit arranged on a downstream side to the catalytic unit in a flow direction of flue gas to measure an ammonia concentration in flue gas having passed through the urea SCR catalyst; and a control unit that controls injection of urea water by the urea-water injecting unit based on an ammonia concentration measured by the concentration measuring unit.

A method and apparatus for measuring density which can simultaneously measure gaseous substance density and solid particulate material density and further can simultaneously measure the densities of a plurality of materials such as black smoke, white smoke, and water vapor. The method includes irradiating a laser having at least one wavelength equivalent to an absorption wavelength of each gaseous substance to be measured.

Method and apparatus for measuring density

A gas analyzer capable of measuring a concentration of a gas component in gas at sensor units provided at a plurality of positions in real time by decreasing the number of signals input from the sensor units to an analyzer so as to reduce a data amount input to the analyzer and a gas analyzing method. The gas analyzing method includes the steps of: demultiplexing laser light by a demultiplexer into measurement laser light and reference laser light; letting the measurement laser light pass through gas to be received by a photoreceiver; finding an absorption spectrum absorbed by a gas component in the gas based on a light intensity of the received measurement laser light and of the reference laser light; and analyzing the absorption spectrum to measure a concentration of the gas component.

Exhaust gas analyzer and exhaust gas analyzing method

A gas flux measuring device measures a region, such as a forest, as a measuring object with no influence by concomitants and with high responsiveness and excellent measuring stability. The device includes a laser beam source, laser output controller, wavelength modulation controller, first light receiver, first direct current component detector, first wavelength modulation demodulator, optical system, reference cell, second light receiver, second direct current component detector, second wavelength modulation demodulator, third wavelength modulation demodulator, analyzer, adder, temperature measurement and pressure measurement. A flow velocity measuring device directly measures horizontal 2-directional flow velocity components and a vertical directional flow velocity component of a gas flow in the measuring region and puts out these measurement signals into the analyzer. Based on the signals inputted from the flow velocity measuring device, the analyzer makes an analysis based on the eddy correlation method and obtains, by calculation using this analysis result, a momentum flux and concentration of the measuring object gas.
