A multi-channel pump includes a pump chamber, an inflow passage connected to the pump chamber, two or more outflow passages connected to the pump chamber, outflow side active valves provided so as to correspond to the outflow passages, and a movable body reciprocated to change a volumetric capacity of the pump chamber. The movable body may be a piston reciprocated within a cylinder that is connected to the pump chamber. A control method for a multi-channel pump includes an initial discharge step between a suction step and a discharge step. The multi-channel pump may be preferably utilized in a fuel cell.

A valve drive device may include a motor, a rotational member rotated by the motor, a linearly moving member engaged with the rotary member, a converting mechanism for converting rotation of the rotational member into linear movement of the linearly moving member, a diaphragm valve for opening or closing an opening part by linearly moving member, and an urging member for closing the opening part through the diaphragm valve. The linearly moving member is linearly moved by the rotational member and the opening part is closed by the diaphragm valve in a state that the rotational member and the linearly moving member are in a non-engagement state. The valve drive device may be mounted on a pump having an inflow path and a plurality of outflow paths.

A linear actuator may include a fixed body having a coil wound around in a ring-shaped manner and a movable body. The movable body may include a first movable body side yoke which is disposed on the inner side of the coil and a pair of magnets which is laminated on both sides in an axial direction of the first movable body side yoke such that the same polarities of the magnets face the first movable body side yoke. The movable body may be driven in the axial direction. The linear actuator may be applied to a valve device and a pump device.

A rotary cylinder apparatus which prevents a fluid from leaking from a contact portion of a piston and a cylinder member and consequently enables efficient rotation. The rotary cylinder apparatus comprises: a rotary cylinder member which has cylinder chambers and formed thereto so as to pass through a rotary shaft center O and rotates around the rotary shaft center O; pistons and demonstrating reciprocating linear motion in the cylinder chambers and ; a piston holding member which holds the pistons and and rotates around a rotation center X eccentric from the rotary shaft center O of the rotary cylinder member ; and a casing which rotatably supports the rotary cylinder member and has at least one inlet and at least one outlet , wherein the pistons and are rotatably supported at a position away from the rotation center X of the piston holding member by a fixed distance and with that position at the center thereof.

A power spring drive apparatus having a power spring on a power spring wind up shaft, an output shaft, and a gear train for winding the power spring and for transferring the rotational force of a wound power spring to the output shaft. The apparatus is in a housing case formed of first and second synthetic resin cases connected together by pins and receiving holes. The housing case has a power spring housing section with a window between the section and externally of the housing. One end of the power spring has a neck shape and extends through the window and is fastened to the housing.

A speed governor comprises a speed increasing wheel train and an electroconductive plate confronting a magnet, the electroconductive plate integrally formed with the final stage of the speed increasing wheel train, a disk-like yoke, a cup-like yoke, abutted against the disk-like yoke, enclosing the electroconductive plate, a magnet fixed on one of the disk-like yoke and the cup-like yoke, and a plurality of inclined surfaces formed on a circumferential end surface of the cup-like yoke, each of the plurality of inclined surfaces identical with each other, each of the plurality of inclined surfaces abutted against a projection of the disk-like yoke whereby one of the disk-like yoke and the cup-like yoke can be moved in a circumferential direction.

Speed governor

A speed governor for use in a time-delay switch having an adjustable delay time, low amount of operating noise, high braking force, and simple construction. Two generally annularly shaped magnets are disposed on opposite sides of a conductive disk rotated at a higher rate than an input member by an accelerating gear train. One of the magnets is stationarily mounted while the other is rotatably adjustable in position via an adjustment plate having an adjustment lever extending outside of the casing of the device.
