A thin film sensor includes an insulating layer provided on a surface of a measurement target, and a sensor layer that is laminated on the insulating layer, and includes a plurality of regions partitioned by a groove that is provided by irradiation of a laser and penetrates in a thickness direction. Among the plurality of regions, at least one region corresponds to a sensor region that senses a pressure applied to the measurement target or a temperature of the measurement target, and other regions each correspond to a non-sensor region that does not sense a pressure applied to the measurement target or a temperature of the measurement target.

Thin film sensor

A hermetically sealed container includes a container body having a bottomed cylindrical shape that opens upward, a lid having a cylindrical portion that is fitted into an end portion on an upper opening side of the container body, the lid openably closing an upper opening of the container body, and a sealing member having an annular shape, the sealing member being provided on the cylindrical portion and hermetically sealing a gap between the cylindrical portion and the container body. The container body having a contact surface that the sealing member contacts, the contact surface being a tapered surface.

Hermetically sealed container

A surface of a steel material cut to a desired shape and carbonitrided is heated by excitation and thereafter repeatedly heated/cooled a predetermined number of times, such that an ultrafine crystal layer is formed immediately under the surface of the steel material and at least a predetermined number of cracks are formed under the formed ultrafine crystal layer, thereby enabling to increase toughness of the surface or immediately thereunder and enhance tenacity and inhibiting growth of cracks.

Steel part and method of manufacturing the same

A capacitive distance sensor includes a first guard electrode, a conductor, a second guard electrode, and insulators. The conductor includes a sensor electrode and a lead portion and is arranged on a side of a measurement target with respect to the first guard electrode. The second guard electrode is arranged on the side of the measurement target with respect to the conductor. The first guard electrode includes portions overlapping the sensor electrode and the lead portion. The second guard electrode includes a portion overlapping the lead portion and does not overlap the sensor electrode.

Distance sensor and measurement method

In an integrating sphere including a structure having a spherical inner wall that forms a spherical space, there are provided an LED circuit board equipped at one end with a light-emitting device adapted to radiate a light in the space at an input port formed at the structure to be diffuse-reflected on the spherical inner wall and equipped at other end with a heat sink, a measuring port formed at the structure to pass the light diffuse-reflected on the spherical inner wall on a measuring object, an output port formed at the structure to output a reflected light of the diffuse-reflected light passing the measuring port and reflected on the measuring object outside, and a detector adapted to be detachably connected to the output port to receive the outputted reflected light.

Integrating sphere

A borescope includes a plurality of bending parts, a plurality of lens barrels, a plurality of joint parts, an objective lens device, a plurality of reflectors, a plurality of relay lenses, and a camera mount. The plurality of lens barrels are connected via the plurality of bending parts with predetermined bend angles, respectively. Rotation angles of the plurality of bending parts are changeable via the plurality of joint parts relative to the plurality of lens barrels. The objective lens device has an objective lens and is detachably provided at a front end side of the plurality of lens barrels. The plurality of reflectors are respectively disposed in the plurality of bending parts. The plurality of relay lenses are respectively disposed in the plurality of lens barrels. The camera mount is provided at a rear end side of the plurality of lens barrels.

Borescope

A sample for electron microscopy includes a base member and a sensor. The sensor is configured to measure data on the sample. The sensor includes an insulating member and a measuring element. The insulating member is deposited in or near an area of observation that is defined on a surface of the base member. The measuring element is deposited on a surface of the insulating member or over the surface of the base member and the surface of the insulating member.

Sample for electron microscopy and method of manufacturing the same

A seal member to be contacted with an observation object is provided at an open end of a lens barrel so that the observation object can be attracted to the lens barrel via the seal member and fixed in direct and close contact with the lens barrel when a vacuum is created in the lens barrel by a vacuum pump. In other words, instead of providing a sample chamber, the observation object is fixed in close contact with the lens barrel to prevent relative movement therebetween by a suction force even without a sample chamber. In this configuration, the interior of the lens barrel can be maintained in a vacuum state despite the absence of a sample chamber and no adverse effect occurs during observation because the lens barrel and the observation object are not moved relative to each other by vibration.

Scanning electron microscope

An accumulator cell assembly made up of a plurality of accumulator cells connected in series. Each accumulator cell includes polarizing electrodes and a collector foil having a width of at least twice the width of the polarizing electrodes. The collector foil continues through adjacent accumulator cells and connects the adjacent accumulator cells in series.

Accumulator cell assembly

A rotary valve for switching supply passages, and discharge passages of high-temperature and high-pressure steam for a rotor rotatably supported at a casing is constructed by making a fixed side valve plate and a movable side valve plate abut to each other on a slide surface. A pressure chamber into which the high-temperature and high-pressure steam is introduced from the supply passage is opened to a mating surface of a valve body portion with the fixed side valve plate. The fixed side valve plate supported to float is pressed against the movable side valve plate with a pressing load generating in the pressure chamber to bring it into close contact with the slide surface. Leakage of the high-temperature and high-pressure steam from the pressure chamber is prevented by placing a V-packing inside the pressure chamber.

Capacitor cell

A rotary fluid machine includes a first operating part () and a second operating part (), which are groups of axial piston cylinders, wherein a rotary valve () for controlling the intake and discharge of a working medium to and from the first and second operating parts () is formed from a first valve part that has a flat sliding surface () perpendicular to a rotational axis (L) of the rotor () and controls the intake and discharge of the working medium to and from the first operating part (), and a second valve part that has a cylindrical sliding surface () centered on the rotational axis (L) of the rotor () and controls the intake and discharge of the working medium to and from the second operating part (). Since the intake and discharge of the working medium to and from the first and second operating parts () are controlled by the common rotary valve (), the size of the rotary fluid machine can be reduced.

Rotary hydraulic machine

An outer periphery of an output shaft integral with a rotor of an expander of a vane-type operated by a high-pressure vapor is supported at its opposite ends by a static-pressure bearing mounted at one end thereof in a floated state provided by a liquid film of a pressurized liquid-phase fluid supplied from a pressurized liquid-phase fluid feed bore through a pressurized liquid-phase fluid passage, and by a static-pressure bearing mounted at the other end thereof in a floated state provided by a liquid film of a pressurized liquid-phase fluid supplied from a pressurized liquid-phase fluid feed bore through pressurized liquid-phase fluid passages. Vanes supported radially in the rotor for reciprocal movement are supported in floated states by a liquid film of a pressurized liquid-phase fluid supplied through pressurized liquid-phase fluid passages extending radially outwards within the rotor.

Rotary fluid machinery

A cell module structure comprises a bus bar plate and plural cylindrical cells. The bus bar plate including plural bus bars each having a positive bus bar terminal, a negative bus bar terminal, and a screw formed in one of the terminals, the bus bars being serially connected to each other with the positive bus bar terminal corresponding to the negative bus bar terminal; and a control substrate integrally provided to the bus bar and connected to the bus bars. The cell includes a positive cell terminal and a negative cell terminal coaxially aligned at an end thereof, and a screw formed in the terminal having the same polarity as that of the bus bar terminal which is formed with the screw to which the above screw is screwed. The screw of the cell is screwed to the screw of the bus bar, so that different terminals with no screw are brought into contact with each other, whereby the plural cells are serially connected.

Cell module structure

A vane type fluid machine includes: a casing; a rotor rotating in the casing; and a plurality of vanes supported by the rotor to slide on an inner surface of the casing. A seal portion of each vane is formed to be elastically deformable so as to slide on the inner surface of the casing while bending backward of a rotational direction of the rotor. Therefore, an improved structure of the seal portion of each vane secures good sealing performance even if machining accuracy of the inner surface of the casing is alleviated.
