In an antitheft system for preventing an equipment comprising moving objects such as electric vehicles or operating machine such as lawnmower from theft, an electronic key is prepared to be carried by an operator of the equipment and stores authenticating data for identifying the operator who carries the electronic key. An authenticator is installed at the equipment and performs authentication check as to whether the electronic key is an authorized key using stored key-checking data, when the authenticating data is outputted from the electronic key, whereas an electronic key copier is provided separately from the equipment and copies the electronic key, thereby enabling to make a copy of the electronic key without activating equipment, while ensuring to prevent the equipment from theft.

Antitheft system

In a system for preventing an equipment such as lawnmower from theft, there are equipped with an internal combustion engine that is mounted on the equipment and is equipped with a generator that generates electric operating power when the engine is operated, a recoil starter to be manipulatable by an operator to operate the engine, an electronic key that is adapted to be carried by the operator and stores authenticating data for identifying the operator who carries the electronic key; and an authenticator that is installed at the equipment and performs authentication check as to whether the electronic key is an authorized key using stored key-checking data, when the authenticating data is outputted from the electronic key. In the system, the authenticator performs the authentication check when the electric operating power is supplied from the generator, thereby enabling to be installed in battery-less equipment and ensure to prevent the equipment from theft.

A self-propelled snow remover has a machine body, a snow-removing implement mounted to a front part of the machine body for undergoing rolling and vertical movement relative to the machine body, and an operating unit mounted to a rear part of the machine body. An alignment operating member is mounted to the operating unit for rolling and vertically moving the snow-removing implement. The alignment operating member is disposed on one of opposite sides of a widthwise central line of the machine body. A return operating member is mounted to the operating unit for automatically returning the snow-removing implement to a predetermined reference position. The return operating member is disposed proximate to the alignment operating member at a position closer to the widthwise central line of the machine body than the alignment operating member and further towards the rear part of the machine body than the alignment operating member.

Self-propelled snow remover

A working machine has a machine body, a working unit attached to the machine body, an internal combustion engine for driving the working unit, a traveling unit mounted on the machine bodyfor displacing the working unit over a ground surface to perform a work operation on the ground surface, and an electric motor for driving the traveling unit. A battery supplies electric power to the electric motor in a battery mode of the working machine to thereby drive the electric motor. A battery mode switch switches between an ON position in which the working machine is in the battery mode and an OFF position in which the working machine is not in the battery mode. A power generator is driven by the internal combustion engine to supply electric power to the battery and to the electric motor. A control unit controls rotation of the electric motor and shifts the working machine to the battery mode in accordance with an ON position of the battery mode switch so that the electric motor is driven only by electric power supplied by the battery while the internal combustion engine is maintained deactivated.

Working machine

A snow removing machine including a control unit for controlling lifting and lowering of an auger housing by an electrohydraulic cylinder. The control unit has the functions of presetting per-unit-time lifting and lowering distances as constants; setting the lowest position as a lifting time measurement starting point upon lifting of the auger housing; setting the highest position as a lowering time measurement starting point upon lowering of the auger housing; measuring a time of movement from the measurement starting point depending on a lifting or lowering operation; and estimating the current vertical movement position by multiplying the lifting or lowering time with a corresponding one of the constants.

Snow removing machine

A walk-behind self-propelled working machine includes an engine disposed with a crankshaft extending vertically in a downward direction and a cylinder disposed horizontally, and a generator having a drive shaft disposed vertically downward. The drive shaft of the generator and the crankshaft of the engine have respective axes that are disposed on a line perpendicular to an axis of the cylinder, as viewed in plan. The crankshaft and the drive shaft are connected together via a power transmitting mechanism.

Walk-behind self-propelled working machine

An overload prevention device has a first rotational member for driving engagement with an input shaft of an auger transmission of a snow removing machine, a second rotational member engaging the first rotational member for rotation therewith over a predetermined torque range and for rotation relative thereto when a predetermined torque is exceeded, and a movable member mounted adjacent to the first rotational member for undergoing movement to restrict a rotating angle of the second rotational member. A detector outputs a detection signal each time the detector detects movement of the movable member in a direction away from the first rotational member when protuberances of the movable member engage protrusions of the first rotational member responsive to relative rotation between the first and second rotational members. A control unit stops operation of the engine when the detector outputs the detection signal a preselected number of times within a preselected time period.

Overload prevention device for a snow removing machine

A motorized vehicle has a vehicle body, at least a pair of wheels mounted on the vehicle body for undergoing rotation to cause the motorized vehicle to undergo travelling, and a pair of electric motors each mounted on the vehicle body to selectively undergo forward and reverse rotation to rotationally drive a respective one of the wheels. A first switch is connected to the electric motors so that operation of the first switch causes the electric motors to undergo rotation simultaneously in opposite directions to turn the motorized vehicle in a first direction while the motorized vehicle does not undergo travelling. A second switch is connected to the electric motors so that operation of the second switch causes the electric motors to undergo rotation simultaneously in opposite directions to turn the motorized vehicle in a second direction opposite to the first direction while the motorized vehicle does not undergo travelling.

Motorized vehicle

An alternator is vertically mounted to an engine in a vehicle. The engine is arranged such that a crank shaft is vertical with respect to the ground and a crank shaft pulley is fixed to a lower end of the crank shaft such that a rotation axis of the crank shaft pulley is parallel to the crank shaft. The engine is provided with a mounting bracket and the alternator is fixed to the mounting bracket in a condition that an alternator pulley faces downward and electrical components are arranged at the upper portion of the alternator.

Vehicle alternator

A snow removing machine which throws up snow collected by an auger with a blower and throws out the snow via a chute is provided. The chute is provided on a blower housing enclosing the blower. The chute is placed on the right or left of the blower housing in a body width direction, so as to receive snow thrown up by centrifugal force of the blower. In a dead space on the opposite side to the chute, a control unit for controlling rotations of electric motors and so on and a battery for supplying power to the electric motors are disposed.

A motorized vehicle has wheels mounted on a vehicle body for undergoing rotation to cause the motorized vehicle to undergo travelling, electric motors for selectively undergoing forward and reverse rotation to rotationally drive respective ones of the wheels, brakes for applying brake forces to respective ones of the wheels, handlebars extending from the vehicle body, and turn control levers mounted on the handlebars to undergo angular movement within a range of preselected angular positions. The turn control levers are connected to respective ones of the brakes and respective ones of the electric motors so that the electric motors undergo rotation simultaneously in opposite directions in accordance with the preselected angular positions of the turn control levers to turn the motorized vehicle while the motorized does not undergo travelling.

A self-propelled snowplow vehicle includes a vehicle frame equipped with an auger at a front end portion thereof and pivotally connected to a propelling frame equipped with driving wheels, and a frame lift mechanism for lifting the front end portion of the vehicle frame up and down relative to the propelling frame. The frame lift mechanism comprises an electro-hydraulic cylinder actuator having a piston rod and an electric motor rotatably driven to produce a fluid pressure for reciprocating the piston rod in response to operation of a manual operating switch. The snowplow vehicle also includes a control unit arranged to forcibly stop the electric motor when a predetermined time has elapsed after the operation switch is activated, the predetermined time being equal to an operating time of the cylinder actuator which is required to extend or contract the piston rod over a maximum stroke defined between a fully extended position and a fully contracted position of the piston rod.

Self-propelled snowplow vehicle

A walk behind self-propelled crawler snowplow includes a snowplow mechanism driven by an engine via a belt drive power transmission mechanism, and an overload protection device associated with the belt drive power transmission mechanism for protecting the engine against overload. The overload protection device comprises a tension sensor for detecting the tension in an endless belt and generating an electric overload signal to disengage an electromagnetic clutch in the belt drive power transmission mechanism when a belt tension greater than a predetermined value is detected.

Walk behind self-propelled crawler snowplow

An electric vehicle has left and right speed control levers provided alongside left and right grips provided at the ends of left and right control handles. The electric vehicle also has left and right electric motors for driving left and right driven wheels and left and right brakes for braking the left and right driven wheels. The left brake and the speed of the left electric motor are controlled with the left speed control lever, the right brake and the speed of the right electric motor are controlled with the right speed control lever, and a driver can execute changes of direction and pivot turns and spot turns while holding the vehicle in a good attitude.

Electric vehicle and transit control method thereof

A walk behind self-propelled crawler has a travel ready lever mounted to one of the left and right handlebars and adapted to be gripped by a human operator to place the electric motors in an operative condition, and a clutch control pushbutton switch disposed on the control board at a position close to the other handlebar, the clutch control pushbutton switch being adapted to be manually operated to actuate the electromagnetic clutch.
