Provided is an aqueous pigment dispersion having high initial dispersibility, high storage stability, and high color developability after printing, and particularly having high rub resistance (rubbing fastness) in cotton fabrics. An aqueous pigment dispersion for an aqueous inkjet ink, including a pigment and an aqueous medium, the pigment being dispersed with a polyurethane resin prepared by reacting an active hydrogen atom-containing component (A) with an organic polyisocyanate component (B), the active hydrogen atom-containing component (A) containing a polycarbonate polyol (a1), the organic polyisocyanate component (B) containing at least one compounds selected from the group consisting of aliphatic polyisocyanates (b1), alicyclic polyisocyanates (b2), and aromatic polyisocyanates (b3), wherein a coating film formed by drying the aqueous pigment dispersion at 50° C. for 12 hours has a storage modulus G' at 160° C. of 1 to 10 MPa.

Aqueous pigment dispersion

An aqueous ink jet composition of the present disclosure includes: at least one dye selected from the group consisting of C.I. Solvent Yellow 160:1, C.I. Disperse Yellow 82, and C.I. Disperse Yellow 184; a material A which is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by the following formula (1), a compound represented by the following formula (2), an ethylene oxide adduct of tristyrylphenol, a derivative of an ethylene oxide adduct of tristyrylphenol, a polyalkylene glycol, and a derivative of a polyalkylene glycol; and an anionic dispersant.

Aqueous ink jet composition

An aqueous ink jet composition contains: C.I. Disperse Red 364; a material A which is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by the following formula (1), a compound represented by the following formula (2), an ethylene oxide adduct of tristyrylphenol, a derivative of the ethylene oxide adduct of tristyrylphenol, a polyalkylene glycol, and a derivative of the polyalkylene glycol; and an anionic dispersant. 

An aqueous ink jet composition includes a first component which is at least one selected from the group consisting of C.I. Solvent Yellow 160: 1, C.I. Disperse Yellow 82, and C.I. Disperse Yellow 184; a second component which is a dispersant having at least one chemical structure of a sulfo group and a salt thereof; and a third component which has a coumarin skeleton and at least one chemical structure of a sulfo group and a salt thereof.

An aqueous ink jet composition contains at least one disperse dye selected from the group consisting of C.I. Disperse Yellow 54, C.I. Disperse Red 60, and C.I. Disperse Blue 359, and a styrene maleic acid-based dispersing agent represented by Formula (1). 

A method for producing an object includes forming and laying N unit layers into which an object is divided, sequentially from a first layer to an Nth layer, using a resin material as a material, or using a resin material for implementing a step, to form the object, the method including performing a discharge treatment at either or both of a timing while forming a unit layer among the N unit layers, and a timing after forming the unit layer, but before starting forming a next unit layer among the N unit layers.

Ink jet ink composition, recording method, and recording apparatus

An ink jet printer includes a transport mechanism that transports a medium in a first direction; and a carriage that includes a plasma irradiation mechanism, which emits plasma generated in a discharge portion from a plasma irradiation port and then irradiates at least a part of the medium with the plasma, and a head which ejects ink onto the part of the medium which is irradiated with the plasma, and that moves in a second direction intersecting with the first direction, in which the plasma irradiation mechanism is provided on one side of the head in the second direction, and the discharge portion of the plasma irradiation mechanism is disposed so as not to come in contact with the medium.

Ink jet printer and printing method

An ink jet recording method including recording an image on the recording medium by causing a first recording head that ejects the first ink composition and a second recording head that ejects the second ink composition to eject the first ink composition and the second ink composition while relative positions thereof with respect to the recording medium are changed, in which, in the recording of the image, a time after the first ink composition is ejected to a predetermined area of the recording medium and before the second ink composition is ejected to the predetermined area is in the range of 10 ms to 2,000 ms, a viscosity of the ink composition at 20&#xb0; C. when the first ink composition is ejected is 15 mPa&#xb7;s or less, and the viscosity at 20&#xb0; C. when 50% of a volatile component contained in the first ink composition is volatilized is 100 mPa&#xb7;s or greater.

An ink jet printer includes a transportation mechanism that transports a medium in a first direction; a plasma irradiation mechanism that irradiates the medium with plasma; a head mechanism that ejects ink to a portion of the medium irradiated with the plasma and moves in a second direction intersecting the first direction; and a control section that controls whether to irradiate the medium with the plasma by the plasma irradiation mechanism, wherein the control section prohibits the irradiation of the medium with the plasma when a transportation speed of the medium is in a range of 0 m/min to 0.1 m/min, and irradiates the medium with the plasma when the transportation speed of the medium is greater than 0.1 m/min.

Ink jet printer and control method thereof

An ink jet printer including a transportation mechanism transporting a medium in a first direction; and a carriage having a plasma irradiation mechanism that irradiates a portion of the medium with plasma generated in an electricity discharge portion and emitted from a plasma irradiation opening and a head that ejects ink from a nozzle to the plasma irradiated portion of the medium, and that moves in a second direction intersecting the first direction.
