A crane operation assistance system includes: a scanning-type distance meter capable of measuring a distance and an angle between the distance meter and an object under a range of movement of a movable body that can hoist a container and move in a horizontal direction; and object height distribution data making means for making, based on the information measured by the distance meter, object height distribution data that is data indicating a distribution of heights of objects under the range of movement of the movable body. If a blind spot for the distance meter has occurred, the object height distribution data making means revises data of object heights in the zone of the blind spot based on data of an object height at a point that is farthest from the distance meter in a imaginary containers presence zone having an overlap with the zone of the blind spot.

A cooling device for cooling heat generating elements in which a cooling effect is produced by collision of a coolant with the back face side of the heat-generating elements. The coolant can be introduced into a coolant introduction chamber and is then introduced into a first coolant contact chamber by injection from a central nozzle. Thereafter the coolant produces a cooling effect in a second coolant contact chamber and in a third coolant contact chamber. Peripheral nozzles are formed so as to spread in radial fashion about the central nozzle and to provide uniform cooling of the back face side of the heating-generating elements.

Cooling device for heat-generating elements

A cooling device for cooling heat generating elements in which a cooling effect is produced by collision of a coolant with the back face side of heat-generating elements (). The coolant () is introduced into a coolant introduction chamber () within a first coolant contact chamber () and is then introduced into the first coolant contact chamber () by injection from a central nozzle (). A ceramic capacitor mounting structure includes a flat capacitor element and two electrodes. The two electrodes are connected respectively between opposite surfaces of the capacitor element and have extensions which extend outwards from the periphery of the capacitor element. The ceramic capacitor mounting structure is structured in such a manner that by virtue of the electrode extensions it is capable of being connected to and released from connectors which are connected to bus bars or similar elements.

A power conversion system that is capable of achieving low inductance, improving cooling performance and making the external shape of the entire system small, is achieved by combining a plurality of single phase inverter units. The inverter units include four device packages each of which is composed of four packaged power devices, two neutral point clamp diodes, two by-pass diode packages and clamp diode packages. Each by-pass diode packages is composed of two packaged by-pass diodes. The clamp diode packages are composed of packaged clamp diodes. The by-pass diode packages are provided on one of the wall surfaces of the clamp diode package, and the device packages are provided on an outside wall surface of the by-pass diode package.

Power conversion system having multi-chip packages

An assembly structure of a self-turn-off switching device and a snubber circuit connected in parallel with the self-turn-off switching device. The snubber circuit is composed of at least a series circuit of a snubber diode and a snubber capacitor. The assembly structure includes the self-turn-off switching device, the snubber diode and the snubber capacitor. The assembly structure also includes a conductive heat sink on which the self-turn-off switching device is mounted at a first surface thereof and the snubber diode is mounted at a first surface thereof, for cooling the self-turn-off switching device and the snubber diode and for connecting the first surfaces of the self-turn-off switching device and said snubber diode. The assembly structure further includes a first conductor on which the snubber diode is mounted at a second surface thereof for connecting the second surface of the snubber diode and a first terminal of the snubber capacitor, a second conductor positioned in parallel with the first conductor for connecting a second terminal of the snubber capacitor and a second surface of the self-turn-off switching device, and an insulating spacer positioned between the first and second conductors for insulating the first and second conductors.
