A vehicle control system includes a vehicular device mounted to a vehicle and a mobile key carried by a user. The vehicular device includes: a vehicular device communication unit communicating with the mobile key, and an acquisition unit acquiring vehicle state information reflecting a state of the vehicle. The vehicular device communication unit transmits the vehicle state information to the mobile key. The mobile key includes: a mobile key communication unit communicating with an external device; an operation unit including operation buttons; and an information generation unit generating operation command information reflecting an operation command set for each of the operation buttons when the operation buttons are operated. The mobile key communication unit receives the vehicle state information. The mobile key further includes a setting unit setting the operation command for each of the operation buttons based on the vehicle state information.

Vehicle control system

A portable communication apparatus, which communicates with vehicle control apparatuses that respectively control vehicles to achieve authentication with respect the vehicle control apparatuses, includes an authentication information change section and a post-change communication section. The authentication information change section communicates with a first vehicle control apparatus, by using a first communication technique, to change authentication information that is used in the first vehicle control apparatus to authenticate the portable communication apparatus. Upon receipt of a notice indicative of having changed the authentication information from the first vehicle control apparatus, the post-change communication section communicates with a second vehicle control apparatus, by using a second communication technique.

Portable communication apparatus, vehicle control apparatus, and vehicle control system

An electronic key system includes an onboard apparatus and a portable apparatus. The electronic key system establishes wireless communication with a secret key common between the onboard apparatus and the portable apparatus, and authenticates the portable apparatus registered as the portable apparatus of an authorized user. The portable apparatus includes a portable apparatus code transmitter that transmits a portable apparatus code. The onboard apparatus includes an onboard code transmitter that transmits an onboard code. The onboard apparatus further includes a portable apparatus code receiver, and an onboard-side key generation portion. The portable apparatus further includes an onboard code receiver, and a portable-apparatus-side key generation portion.

Electronic key system, onboard apparatus, and portable apparatus

A communication system includes: a vehicle-mounted device; and a mobile device. The vehicle-mounted device includes: a vehicle side transmission device that transmits a request signal; a vehicle side receiver that receives an operation signal, transmitted from a mobile device side operation unit of the mobile device, and a response signal; and a vehicle side reception control device that controls the vehicle side receiver to receive the operation signal as a first channel signal, and to receive the response signal as a second channel signal. The mobile device includes: the mobile device side operation unit; a mobile device side reception device; and a mobile device side transmission device that transmits the operation signal as the first channel signal, and transmits the response signal as the second channel signal.

Communication system

A vehicle system comprises an onboard apparatus that is mounted to a vehicle, and a portable device. The vehicle system controls the vehicle according to a result of collation using wireless communication in which a signal is transmitted and received on electric wave, between the onboard apparatus and the portable device. The onboard apparatus includes a vehicle-side transmission processor that transmits a first signal which specifies signal intensity information and, following transmission of the first signal, transmits a second signal having a signal intensity, the signal intensity information being information on the signal intensity of the second signal. The portable device includes a portable device-side reception antenna that receives a signal transmitted from the vehicle-side transmission antenna, a signal intensity measurement portion, and a reply determiner that determines whether a replay is performed to the onboard apparatus for the collation.

A vacuum forming apparatus is provided that forms an article having a covering bonded to the surface of a substrate in a molding space using a first mold and a second mold. The vacuum forming apparatus is provided with clamps for grasping the covering between the first and second molds arranged at the open positions. The clamps are movable between an interfering position, at which the clamps are located in the movement ranges of the first and second molds, and standby positions, at which the clamps are outside the movement ranges. After the covering is heated, the clamps grasping the covering move to the standby positions and stretch the covering. The first and second molds move to the closed positions and the article is molded between the first and second molds so that the stretched covering and the substrate are bonded to each other.

The vehicle-mounted device includes a vehicle-mounted transmission unit which simultaneously transmits radio waves having a predetermined phase difference using at least two transmission antennas disposed orthogonal to each other. The portable device includes a triaxial reception antenna receiving the at least two radio waves, and a magnetic field strength detection unit detecting a magnetic field strength on each of three axes of the triaxial reception antenna. One of the vehicle-mounted device or the portable device includes an illicitness determination unit determining, based on the detected magnetic field strength, whether the wireless communication is established through an illicit repeater.

Vehicle system, portable device, and vehicle-mounted device

A vehicular control system includes a smart key carried by a user and operated by an embedded battery and a verification ECU mounted in a vehicle. A wireless communication is made between the smart key and the verification ECU. The smart key performs periodically a switchover of a detection sensitivity for detecting a transmission electric wave transmitted from the verification ECU between a normal sensitivity and a high sensitivity. The high sensitivity has a detection area of the transmission electric wave greater than a detection area of the normal sensitivity. The constant use of the high sensitivity is unnecessary to detect the transmission electric wave. This enables a reduction of the consumed electric current of the battery for detecting the transmission electric wave with the high sensitivity.

Vehicular control system and portable terminal

A vehicular keyless entry system is formed of an in-vehicle device and a plurality of portable devices. The portable device stores received checkup area identification information in a memory circuit. The portable device transmits a response signal including the stored checkup area information and portable device identification information, when a request signal is received from an in-vehicle device. The in-vehicle device checks up a plurality of portable devices based on the portable device identification information included in the response signal, and determines locations of the plurality of portable devices based on the checkup area identification information included in the response signal. The in-vehicle device performs vehicle door locking control operation based on a determination result.

Vehicular keyless entry system and portable device therefor

A vehicle door hinge that is positioned between a vehicle main body and a vehicle door and connects the same to each other in order to connect the vehicle door to the vehicle main body so as to be openable and closable may include a female bracket that is securely attached to one of the vehicle main body and the vehicle door, a male bracket that is securely attached to the other of the vehicle main body and the vehicle door, a rotation shaft member that is secured to the female bracket and supports the male bracket to be rotatable relative to the female bracket. A control system has regular ECUs and a recovery ECU. Each regular ECU controls driving of current consumers, respectively, drivable by driving methods and connected through output channels. The recovery ECU has output drivers, respectively, producing driving currents based on the driving methods and channel changing blocks corresponding to the respective driving methods. When receiving information indicating failure of an output channel of one regular ECU, the recovery ECU specifies the driving method of the failed channel, controls the driver of the specified driving method to produce a driving current, and controls the changing block of the specified driving method to select one output channel, through which the current consumer connected with the failed ECU through the failed channel is also connected with the changing unit. The recovery ECU performs substitute driving instead of the failed ECU to supply the current to the consumer.

An air bag door in which the remaining thickness of a substrate at a centerline of a fracture groove formed into the shape of an air bag door on a back surface of the substrate is set to be smaller than other portions, and dotted fracture perforations for braking the superficial material are selectively provided at the centerline portion and near meeting points between sidelines and the centerline. According to the invention described above, the substrate and the superficial material of the air bag door are broken in a desirable order of breakage by portions synchronously with each other when the air bag is expanded and deployed.
