One of objects is to reduce a load in a session management and relay process on an SOAP-SIP adaptor for providing a 3PCC service. The SOAP-SIP adaptor (hereinafter the adaptor) receives a connection request message between a first terminal and a second terminal from a Web server, and establishes the sessions with each of the first terminal and the second terminal. After establishing the sessions with each of the first terminal and the second terminal, the adaptor sends a transfer request (REFER) of session to a call control device. Thereafter, the call control device manages session between the first terminal and the second terminal each having established the session with the adaptor.

Communication system

When starting subscribe for acquiring presence information, there is no need of acquiring an identifier of the presentity or an identifier of the group, which have been conventionally indispensable. There is provided a state information management system including a management server for managing state information on a plurality of terminals. Instead of specifying a presentity, a condition of the presentity, such as a value of presence, is specified for subscribing. For example, when subscribe is established by specifying the identical current position as a condition, subscribe for the user matched with the condition is automatically started and the presence can be acquired. When the presence of a partner or user himself/herself is changed to a different value, the presentity is automatically changed.

Presence information management system and presence information management server

Presence information is shared between a plurality of applications, to grasp a change of presence information of a different kind of application. An IM(X) serverreceives a notification of a change of presence information from a client A(S), and sends a change notification message for notifying the change of the presence information to a presence server(S). Then, the presence serversends the change notification message received from the IM(X) serverto the IM(Y) server(S). The IM(Y) serversends the change notification message received from the presence serverto a client B(S).

Presence information sharing method and system

The object of the invention is to make communication between users smoother utilizing terminal type information. To achieve the object, a terminal type is specified based upon information in login and information acquired by adding the information to presence information is notified. Besides, terminals of the same type are connected by an SIP server. The selection of the communication means of voice communications and a character chat when communication is started and the specification of a calling terminal at a partner terminal are enabled by adding terminal information to presence information and grasping mutual owned terminals. Detailed status can be grasped based upon presence information of the same name by grasping presence information and terminal information. Further, in the case of a terminal not provided with a presence function, an SIP server also identifies terminal type information by deputy and can also specify a calling terminal.

Presence server, session control server, and packet relay system

Providing a new contents delivery method that is suitable for community networks and reduces leaks of personal information. Presentities indicating channels for information delivery are formed on presence service, and virtual channel communication terminals corresponding to their presentities are logically formed on an information delivery server. Thereby, contents are transmitted and received between the information delivery server and user communication terminals, and among the user communication terminals as if the contents were transmitted and received between a presentity indicating a channel and a presentity indicating a user. During contents transmission and reception, the need to exchange address information among users is eliminated, making it possible to prevent leaks of personal information.
