A wire waterproof structure including a water-stopping material, wherein: the water-stopping material is configured to seal at least a partial region of a conductor comprising an assembly of a plurality of strands, the water-stopping material contains a resin material, and a filler dispersed in the resin material, and the filler has an average particle size of 1 μm or more and 15% or less of an outer diameter of the strands, and a content in the water-stopping material of 1 mass % or more and 20 mass % or less, relative to the resin material.

A glow plug with a combustion pressure sensor includes a housing, a glow heater, a load transfer member, and a pressure detector. The housing has an external thread and a seat facing portion. The seat facing portion has a tapered contact surface in surface contact with the tapered seat surface. A recessed portion recessed to be in non-contact with the seat portion is formed annularly about a central axis of the housing.

Anticorrosive, terminal-attached covered electric wire, and wiring harness

A wiring harness capable of reliably blocking a leak path after an endurance test and exhibiting a good waterproof performance over a long period of time. The wiring harness has a waterproof structure in which a spliced portion is formed by joining conductors that are exposed by partially removing coating materials, and a conductor exposed portion composed of a bundle of the exposed conductors. An outer peripheral surface of each coating material end part of each insulated wire adjacent to the conductor exposed portion are continuously covered with a waterproofing agent to seal the conductor exposed portion and is configured using a reactive adhesive having a gel fraction in a range of 20 to 70% as the waterproofing agent.

A strain sensor is provided which includes a strain sensor, a first housing, a second housing joined to the first housing, and a pressure measuring mechanism firmly retained between the first housing and the second housing. The pressure measuring mechanism is gripped between a first face of the first housing and a second face of the second housing to measure compressive stress exerted by a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine on the first housing and the second housing. This structure improves the reliability of mechanical strength of the housings and the pressure measuring mechanism and provides flexibility in selecting the type of the pressure measuring mechanism.

Strain sensor

In a combustion pressure sensor, a sensor holder is installed in a housing. The sensor holder has an end contact surface. A load transfer member is installed in the housing. The load transfer member has a contact surface facing the end contact surface of the sensor holder. The contact surface of the load transfer member is in contact with the end contact surface of the sensor holder. One of the contact surface of the load transfer member and the end contact surface of the sensor holder has a concavely curved shape, and the other thereof has a convexly curved shape.

A wiring harness has a waterproof structure in which a waterproof agent covers a conductor exposed portion-and outer peripheral surfaces of end portions of wire covering members of a plurality of insulated wires in succession, the portion including a splice portion where portions of the members of the insulated wires are removed and the exposed conductors are spliced together and a bundle of the exposed conductors of the insulated wires, the end portions being adjacent to the portion, whereby the portion is sealed with the waterproof agent, wherein the waterproof agent is a cured product of an ultraviolet curable adhesive agent that contains (A) an ester acrylate having a linear or branched C2-C12 alkyl group, (B) a (meth)acrylate compound comprising at least two urethane bonds in one molecule, and (C) a photopolymerization initiator.

Wire harness

A semiconductor device includes a HEMT and a diode. The HEMT includes: a substrate having a GaN layer as a channel layer generating a two-dimensional electron gas and an AlGaN layer as a barrier layer on the GaN layer; a source electrode on the AlGaN layer ohmic contacting the AlGaN layer; a drain electrode on the AlGaN layer apart from the source electrode and ohmic contacting the AlGaN layer; an inter-layer insulating film on the AlGaN layer between the source electrode and the drain electrode; and a gate electrode on the inter-layer insulating film. The substrate includes an active layer region generating the two dimensional electron gas in the GaN layer. The diode includes an anode electrically connected to the gate electrode and a cathode electrically connected to the drain electrode.

Semiconductor device with high electron mobility transistor

A step-flow growth of a group-III nitride single crystal on a silicon single crystal substrate is promoted. A layer of oxide oriented to a &#x3c;111&#x3e; axis of silicon single crystal is formed on a surface of a silicon single crystal substrate, and group-III nitride single crystal is crystallized on a surface of the layer of oxide. Thereupon, a &#x3c;0001&#x3e; axis of the group-III nitride single crystal undergoing crystal growth is oriented to a c-axis of the oxide. When the silicon single crystal substrate is provided with a miscut angle, step-flow growth of the group-III nitride single crystal occurs. By deoxidizing a silicon oxide layer formed at an interface of the silicon single crystal and the oxide, orientation of the oxide is improved.

A composition for a wire protective member with heat resistance, flame retardancy, and resistance against both a calcium chloride and a braided wire; a wire protective member and a wire harness using the composition. The composition for a wire protective member is produced by including a polypropylene having a propylene monomer constituting 50 to 95 percent by mass of monomers forming a polymer, a melt flow rate of 0.5 to 5 g/10 min, and a melting point of 150 degrees C. or more; a bromine-based flame retardant and an antimony trioxide as a flame retarder; a phenol-based antioxidant as a heat resistance life improving agent; and a metal deactivator, wherein the propylene has a tensile strength of 20 to 35 MPa and a Charpy impact strength of 10 kJ/mor more at 23 degrees C.

Composition for wire protective member, wire protective member, and wiring harness

A holder includes a first cover that covers a part of a corrugated tube in a radial direction of the corrugated tube, and a second cover engaged with the first cover and that covers a remaining part of the corrugated tube in the radial direction. A first retaining portion is formed on the first cover and is engaged in a groove on a bellows-shaped outer face of the corrugated tube. A second retaining portion is formed on the second cover and is engaged in the groove on the bellows-shaped outer face of the corrugated tube. The first cover includes a base portion and a pair of side wall portions extended vertically respectively from both ends of the base portion. The first retaining portion includes a first retaining piece which continuously extends from one of the side wall portions to the base portion and a second retaining piece which continuously extends from the other of the side wall portions to the base portion. The first retaining piece and the second retaining piece are separated from each other with air gap at the base portion.

A fluid dynamic bearing device which can exhibit high bearing performance is provided at low costs by forming a highly accurate bearing gap. At least a region in the outer circumferential surface of a shaft which faces the radial bearing gap is constituted of an electroformed part, and the region of the shaft excluding the electroformed part is constituted of a resin portion.

A bearing sleeve is secured in position inside the resin housing, and a shaft member is radially supported in a non-contact fashion by a dynamic pressure action of lubricant generated in a radial bearing clearance between the shaft member and the bearing sleeve. A metal bracket for mounting the stator coil of a motor is fixed by adhesion to the outer periphery of the housing, in which the adhesion portion of the outer periphery of the housing to be fixed to the bracket is roughened, setting the surface roughness to 0.5 &#x3bc;mRa to 2.0 &#x3bc;mRa.
