An actuator device includes a locking displaceable element and a manual operation element that are displaceably disposed in a fixed portion. The locking displaceable element is displaceable to locked/unlocked positions. The manual operation element engages with the locking displaceable element and displaces the locking displaceable element to lock/unlocked positions via manual operation. The fixed portion includes locking displaceable element stoppers and manual operation element stoppers. The locking displaceable element includes locking displaceable element stopper abutment surfaces. The manual operation element includes manual operation element stopper abutment surfaces. When the manual operation element is operated, the manual operation element stopper abutment surfaces abut against the manual operation element stoppers by to stop displacement of the manual operation element before the locking displaceable element stopper abutment surfaces abutting against the locking displaceable element stoppers.

A locking pin driving mechanism includes a motor, a preceding gear, a round gear, a feed screw and a slider. The feed screw is coaxially fixed to the round gear. A locking pin is mounted in the slider. A center axis of the locking pin and a center axis of the feed screw are each disposed in parallel with a center axis of a vehicle inlet. An interaxial distance between the center axis of the vehicle inlet and the center axis of the feed screw is set to be larger than an interaxial distance between the center axis of the vehicle inlet and the center axis of the locking pin.

A manual operation element includes a locking active surface and an unlocking active surface. A locking displaceable element includes a locking passive surface and an unlocking passive surface. When the manual operation element is operated in a locking direction, the locking active surface engages with the locking passive surface and displaces the locking displaceable element toward a locked position. When the manual operation element is operated in an unlocking direction, the unlocking active surface engages with the unlocking passive surface and displaces the locking displaceable element toward an unlocked position. When the locking displaceable element performs a displacement operation electrically, neither the locking active surface and the locking passive surface nor the unlocking active surface and the unlocking passive surface engage with each other in an entire area or more than half area of a displacement range of the locking displaceable element.

Solving a problem in strength that occurs as a result of forming a shaft outside-fitting gear for an electric retractable view device for a vehicle, using a material including a resin as a base material. A shaft outside-fitting gear is formed of a material including a resin as a base material. The gear includes a clutch surface in one end face in an axis direction thereof. The clutch surface is disposed on an inner circumferential side and an outer circumferential side of a radial position of a tooth bottom of each gear tooth of the gear relative to the radial position of the tooth bottom, in a radial direction of the gear. One end face in the axis direction of the gear has a structure in which a valley of each gear tooth of the gear is occluded at a radial region at which the clutch surface is disposed.

Upon the view device rotating section being rotated from an extended position toward a forward-tilted position by an external force, respective top surfaces of the height maintaining protrusions are brought into abutment with and slide on each other in a position in which abutment between respective top surfaces of the crests of the crest-valley repeated shapes is cancelled, to maintain a height of the view device rotating section.

Electric retractable view device for vehicle

This invention intends to prevent generation of abnormal sound. A motor shaft is inserted in a center hole of a worm and fitted in the center hole in a direction around an axis of the worm. A distal end of the worm is received in a bearing recess. A worm wheel engages with the worm. A radial gap and rotational play are formed between the motor shaft and the center hole of the worm. A radial gap is formed between the distal end of the worm and the bearing recess. The gap between the distal end of the worm and the bearing recess is formed so as to have a size that prevents an outer circumferential surface of the distal end of the worm and an inner circumferential surface of the bearing recess from coming into contact with each other when the worm is rotating.

This invention enables to downsize an electric retracting unit. An electric retracting unit includes a frame that houses a power transmission mechanism and a motor holding member that holds a motor. The frame and the motor holding member are fixed to each other. A structure of the fixation includes a structure in which a screw is inserted from the frame side and screwed into the motor holding member. At least one fixation place including this fixation structure is disposed at a position at which at least a part of the at least one fixation place overlaps a motor body of the motor as viewed in a direction parallel to an axis of the shaft.

Electric retracting unit for electric retractable view device for vehicle

This invention intends to enhance space efficiency in an electric retractable view device for a vehicle. A motor drives a view device rotating section to rotate in a direction around an axis of a shaft. A circuit board supplies electric drive power to the motor. The circuit board is disposed vertically between the shaft and the motor. The circuit board includes motor connection terminals and a connector connection terminal. The motor connection terminals are connected to motor terminals of the motor. A connector of an external electric power supply wiring is connected to the connector connection terminal. In a state in which the motor connection terminals are connected to the motor terminals, the connector connection terminal is disposed below the motor connection terminals between the circuit board and the motor.

This invention intends to enhance motor holding performance of a motor holding member in an electric retractable view device for a vehicle. An electric retracting unit includes a rotating body. The rotating body includes an outer plate (motor holding member) that holds a motor body of a motor. The outer plate includes a barrel and a claw engagement piece. The barrel receives the motor body in an inner space. The claw engagement piece engages with a rear end face (engaged portion) of the motor body received in the barrel and locks the motor so as to prevent axial movement. An engagement surface of the engagement claw of the claw engagement piece is disposed at a position on a deeper side of the inner space relative to an open end of the inner space of the barrel.

The electric retractable view device for a vehicle includes a view device rotating section including a view section body mounted therein, a rotation support section that supports the view device rotating section so as to be rotatable relative to a predetermined rotation axis, and an electric driving mechanism that electrically moves the view device rotating section to either of a retracted position and an extended position. The electric driving mechanism includes a motor, and a power transmission mechanism that transmits a drive force of the motor to the view device rotating section to rotate the view device rotating section in the direction around the rotation axis. The power transmission mechanism includes a double-threaded worm, and one or more motor-side worms disposed on the motor side relative to the double-threaded worm. Each of the one or more motor-side worms is a single-threaded worm.

The present invention is a rearward imaging device attached to a moving body such as a vehicle, and is provided with an imaging device for capturing images rearward of the moving body, and a housing for accommodating the imaging device. The imaging device has a barrel for holding a transparent member, and a concave part is formed in the rear part of the housing. The barrel penetrates a bottom part of the concave part and protrudes further rearward than a bottom surface of the concave part.

Rearward imaging device

A rear imaging device is provided. The rear imaging device is attached to a mobile object such as a vehicle, and is provided with an imaging device for imaging an area rearward of the mobile object, and a housing for housing the imaging device. At a rear end portion of the housing, drainer pieces are formed extending rearward. A plurality of the drainer pieces are formed in a circumferential direction of the housing. Tip end portions of the drainer pieces are formed narrower toward tip points thereof, with base portions of the adjacent drainer pieces being adjacent to each other.
