Certain embodiments of the present invention lies in providing a high-purity oxygen production system which is capable of supplying liquid nitrogen in order to supply the cold required by a high-purity oxygen production apparatus, without the use of a costly conventional liquefaction apparatus. A high-purity oxygen production system in accordance with an embodiment can include: an air separation apparatus including a main heat exchanger, a medium-pressure column and a low-pressure column; and a high-purity oxygen production apparatus including a nitrogen compressor, a nitrogen heat exchanger and at least one (high-purity) oxygen rectification column, an oxygen-containing stream serving as a starting material for high-purity oxygen is supplied from the low-pressure column to the high-purity oxygen production apparatus, and liquid nitrogen obtained from the medium-pressure column is supplied to the high-purity oxygen production apparatus in order to replenish cold heat required for operation of the high-purity oxygen production apparatus.

High-purity oxygen production system

Cryogenic air separation apparatus

A portion of feed air is expanded and cooled in front of a main heat exchanger, and is used as cold for precooling the remaining unexpanded feed air inside the main heat exchanger. A portion of the feed air precooled inside the main heat exchanger is removed to outside the main heat exchanger, expanded and cooled, and used as cold to cool the remaining unexpanded precooled feed air inside the main heat exchanger.

Nitrogen production method and nitrogen production apparatus

A gas production system that can supply liquefied gas obtained by rectifying source gas as product gas continuously with high heat efficiency without using a machine that has a risk of contamination like a pump. A gas production system includes a single pressure device having a single pressurized container to which liquefied gas extracted from a rectification unit is supplied, a pressure line for extracting and vaporizing a part of the liquefied gas in the pressurized container and returning the part of the liquefied gas to the pressurized container, and a second heat exchange unit that is disposed in the pressure line, and a liquefied gas storage unit that stores liquefied gas which is led out from the pressurized container.

Gas production system

An apparatus and a method for cooling and compressing a fluid to produce a low-temperature compressed fluid that can efficiently use the cold of LNG and reduce the energy needed, the apparatus using a Rankine cycle system having a first compression device, a first heat exchanger, an expansion device, a second heat exchanger, and a first flow passageway for guiding the heat transfer medium from the second heat exchanger to the first compression device; and at least one second compression device that is coupled to the expansion device, wherein at the second heat exchanger, a low-temperature LNG and the heat transfer medium undergo heat transfer, wherein at the first heat exchanger, a fed material gas and the heat transfer medium undergo heat transfer to produce a low-temperature fluid from the material gas, and the low-temperature fluid is compressed at the second compression device to produce a low-temperature compressed fluid.

Apparatus and method for producing low-temperature compressed gas or liquefied gas

A method and apparatus for producing high pressure nitrogen is provided. This system includes a first compressor for compressing air and cooling air to substantially the dew-point, a high pressure column, a medium pressure column, a conduit for introducing at least a portion of the compressed air at a base of the high pressure column; a conduit for removing a oxygen enriched liquid from the base of the high pressure column; a first valve for reducing the pressure of the oxygen enriched liquid to a medium pressure, where the medium pressure is between the high pressure and atmospheric pressure, a conduit for introducing the oxygen enriched liquid at an intermediate place of the medium pressure column; a second expander for reducing the pressure of at least a part of the liquid removed from the base of the medium pressure distillation column, to a low pressure to cool a top condenser of the medium pressure column and to form a waste vapor stream; a cold compressor for compressing a vapor stream removed form the medium pressure column, cooling the compressed vapor stream, and introducing it into the base of the high pressure column; a heat exchanger for heating the waste vapor stream, a first expander for expanding the heated stream to produce power; a conduit for withdrawing liquid from the top of the medium pressure column, pump for pumping the withdrawn liquid to high pressure and injecting it at the top of the high pressure column; and conduit for withdrawing product nitrogen from the top of the high pressure column.
