Fluid machine

In a Roots displacement fluid machine (5) comprising rotors (15, 17) meshed with each other in a tooth trace (57, 59) formed in parallel to a rotating central axis, and a casing (13) having a rotor chamber (33) rotatably receiving the rotors (15, 17), a fluid inlet port for a fluid and a fluid outlet port, an inclined surface (67) forming an angle .theta. with respect to an opposing surface (65) of the rotor chamber (33) is disposed at least in a tip end of the end portion of the rotor (15), and a gap (69) is formed with respect to the opposing surface (65).

Two-shift fluid machine

A differential apparatus (7) comprises: a differential casting (21) rotated by an engine power; a plurality of pinion gears (65, 66) slidably housed in accommodation holes (63, 64) formed in the differential casing; a pair of side gears (35, 37) geared with each other via the pinion gears, two opposing end surfaces thereof being slid relative to each other, either directly or via a thrust washer (61); and a block member (47, 91, 97) interposed between two inner circumferential surfaces of the two side gears so as to center the side gears, respectively. In particular, at least one oil sump (77,) is formed between the block member and the side gears, to supply lubricant to sliding portions between the bolck member (47, 91, 97) and the side gears (35, 37) and between two opposing end surfaces of the two side gears, by a centrifugal force generated by the rotating differential casing. Further, it is preferable to further form at least one central oil passage (301, 303, 305) at the centering portion (365) so as to extend from an inner circumferential side to an outer circumferential side of the boss portions (357, 359) of the two side gears (353, 355). Further, it is also preferable to form at least two radial oil passages (881, 885, 977, 978) between inner wall surfaces of the differential casing (821, 921) and the side gears (835, 837, 939, 941) respectively in such a way that a radially inward end thereof communicates with the heat oil passage (877, 879, 979L, 979R) and a radially outward end thereof communicates with sliding portion between the side gear and the differential casing, respectively.

Differential apparatus

A differential apparatus (7) comprises: a differential casing (21) rotated by an engine power; a plurality of pinion gears (65, 66) slidably housed in accommodation holes (63, 64) formed in the differential casing: a pair of side gears (35, 37) geared with each other via the pinion gears, two opposing end surfaces thereof being slid relative each other, either directly or via a thrust washer (61); and a block member (47, 91, 97) interposed between two inner circumferential surfaces of the two side gears so as to center the side gears, respectively. In particular, at least one oil sump (77, 79; 95; 101) is formed between the block member and the side gears, to supply lubricant to sliding portions between the block member (47, 91, 97) and the side gears (35, 37) and between two opposing end surfaces of the two side gears, by a centrifugal force generated by the rotating differential casing. Further, it is preferable to further form at least one central oil passage (301, 303, 305) at the centering portion (365) so as to extend from an inner circumferential side to an outer circumferential side of the boss portions (357, 359) of the two side gears (353, 355). Further, it is also preferable to form at least two radial oil passages (881, 885; 977, 978) between inner wall surfaces of the differential casing (821, 921) and the side gears (835, 837; 939, 941), respectively in such a way that a radially inward end thereof communicates with the helical oil passage (877, 879; 979L, 979R) and a radially outward end thereof communicates with sliding portion between the side gear and the differential casing, respectively.

A differential apparatus includes a differential casing, a pair of side gears and plural pairs of pinion gears. The pinion gears are accommodated in bores formed in the differential casing, respectively. Each pinion gear has an outer diameter smaller than that of a standard gear to be determined corresponding to predetermined gear specifications. With such a forming of the pinion gears, the tip circular thickness of each pinion gear is increased, so that surface pressure at respective tips of the pinion gears is reduced to improve the seizure resistant capability.

This differential apparatus has a differential casing rotated by an engine, side gears on an output side arranged within the differential casing and spline-connected to output shafts, pinion gears for connecting the gears, storing holes for slidably and rotatably storing the gears, a thrust block for receiving thrust forces of the output shafts, washers, respectively opposed to the gears and movably arranged with respect to the thrust block in an axial direction, and a spring for pressing the washers, against the gears, and giving frictional torque to said gears. Accordingly, no thrust forces of the output shafts are inputted to the washer members and the spring and initial torque is released from influences of the thrust forces of the output shafts so that stable differential limiting characteristics can be obtained.

A differential apparatus includes a differential casing, a pair of side gears and plural pairs of pinion gears. The pinion gears are accommodated in bores formed in the differential casing, respectively. On the side wall of the differential casing a plurality of lubrication holes are formed for introducing the lubrication oil into the differential casing. Each lubrication hole is arranged so that a center thereof is positioned in the vicinity of a meshing point of the pinion gears. In operation, due to the screw pumping effect of the pinion gears, plenty of lubrication oil is introduced into meshing portions of the pinion gears.

A differential gear apparatus includes a differential case 21 having casing members 31,33 fixed by a tightening member 35 and driven by an engine to be rotated, side gears 37,39 on the wheel side, pinion gears 57,59 for linking the gears 37,39 with each other, and receiving bores 53,55 formed of first and second wall surfaces 77,79,83,85 which are respectively formed in the casing members 31,33 for receiving the pinion gears 57,59 slidably and rotatably therein, wherein wall surfaces 77,79 occupy semicircles or more of the receiving bores 53,55, and curvatures of the wall surfaces 83,85 are set to be larger than those of the wall surfaces 77,79 and wherein distances between the wall surfaces 83,85 and the pinion gears 57,59 are set to be longer than distances between the wall surfaces 77,79 and the pinion gears 57,59 in contacting areas of respective wall surfaces.

Differential gear apparatus

A differential apparatus includes a differential casing (21) rotated by an engine drive power; pinion gears (51, 53) slidably and rotatably accommodated in accommodating holes (47, 49) formed in the differential casing (21); a pair of side gears (31, 33) linked with each other via the pinion gears, for transmitting the engine drive power to vehicle wheels differentially; and device (69, 73, 81, 91, 99, 101, 103, 107, 109) for supplying lubricant to sliding surfaces between inner walls of the accommodating holes and the pinion gears.

A differential apparatus comprises: a differential casing; a first side gear rotatably arranged within the differential casing and connected to the first shaft; a second side gear rotatably arranged within the differential casing in parallel to the first side gear and connected to the second shaft; at least one short pinion gear housed in a bore formed in the differential casing so as to be rotated within the bore and around the first and second side gears together with the differential casing; at least one long pinion gear housed in another bore formed in the differential casing in parallel to and in mesh with the short pinion gear so as to be rotated within the bore and around the first and second side gears together with the differential casing; and a viscous coupling. The first and second side gears are geared to each other through the short and long pinion gears so as to be rotated differentially relative to each other, when the short and long pinion gears are driven by the differential casing. The differential apparatus can generate a torque sensitive differential limiting force uniform both when a torque is transmitted to the first shaft under the condition that the second shaft is being idled and when a torque is transmitted to the second shaft under the condition that the first shaft is being idled; and a speed sensitive differential limiting force generated by the viscous coupling.
