A heating system for liquefied gas fuel supply apparatus is applied to a liquefied gas fuel supply apparatus that causes a vaporizer to vaporize liquefied gas fuel and supplies the vaporized fuel to an internal combustion engine, the heating system including a circulation circuit and a heat insulating container. The circulation circuit circulates a heating medium between the vaporizer and an inside of the internal combustion engine. And, the heat insulating container stores the heating medium. In this case, the heat insulating container is disposed in the circulation circuit.

Heating system for liquefied gas fuel supply apparatus and fuel supply appartus for liquefied gas engine

A heating apparatus for a liquefied gas fuel supply system includes a heating unit, a detecting unit and a setting unit. The liquefied gas fuel supply system vaporizes liquefied gas fuel to supply the vaporized gas fuel to an internal-combustion engine. The heating unit heats the liquefied gas fuel before the liquefied gas fuel is vaporized. The detecting unit detects vapor pressure characteristic of the liquefied gas fuel. The setting unit sets an amount of heat to be applied to the liquefied gas fuel on a basis of a detection result by the detecting unit.

Heating apparatus for liquefied gas fuel supply system

A filter for an in-tank type fuel pump. The filter comprises a frame, a bag type screen adapted to be kept in an expanded condition by the frame, and a flat protector to be interposed between the screen and a bottom surface of the fuel tank. The protector is attached to the screen substantially at the central portion of the protector in the longitudinal direction thereof, so that it may be pressed against the tank bottom surface by a small deflecting force of the screen. This construction is effective to cause less transmission of noise of the pump to the tank.

Filter system for an in-tank fuel pump

A sliding contact includes a sliding contact piece having a contact segment and fixed to a snap member extending perpendicularly to the contact segment. The snap member has at least two snap portions formed in alignment perpendicular to the contact segments including one adjacent the contact segments which is adapted to be concentrically fitted onto a mounting projection of a slider and another apart from the contact segments which is adapted to keep the angle of the contact segments to the slider. Also, there is a connecting contact with at least two holding arms for nipping therebetween a substrate on both sides thereof, at least one of the holding arms having a projection to be inserted in a hole or recess preliminarily formed in the substrate. After the projection is received in the hole or recess, it is fixed by a conductive anchoring material such as solder, so that the connecting contact may be fixedly attached to the substrate.

Contact structure for slider position sensor

A pressure regulating valve for regulating a pressure of fuel to be supplied to a fuel injection device including a diaphragm chamber having a connecting portion for inducing an intake manifold vacuum in the vicinity of a nozzle hole of the fuel injection device and having a temperature sensitive spring formed of a shape memory alloy and a valve member operable by the temperature sensitive spring, wherein when a fuel temperature is equal to or greater than a set temperature of the shape memory alloy, the valve member of the temperature sensitive valve closes a fuel passage in the fuel discharge pipe, and a high pressure valve adapted to open the fuel passage in the fuel discharge pipe when the temperature sensitive valve is closed and the pressure in the fuel chamber is equal to or greater than a second set pressure higher than the first set pressure, whereby when the fuel temperature is less than the set temperature, the pressure in the fuel chamber is adjusted to be equal to the first set pressure, while when the fuel temperature is equal to or greater than the set temperature, the pressure in the fuel chamber is adjusted to be equal to the second set pressure.

Pressure regulating valve

In a throttle valve opening sensor including a substrate provided with an opening detecting portion for detecting openings of a throttle valve and a specific opening detecting portion for detecting a specific opening of the throttle valve, the specific opening detecting portion consisting of a collector and a conductor, a rotor adapted to be rotated in association with rotation of the throttle valve, and first and second contacts mounted to the rotor and adapted to slide on the opening detecting portion and the specific opening detecting portion, thereby detecting the openings and the specific opening of the throttle valve; the improvement is characterized in that the collector and the conductor of the specific opening detecting portion comprises a metal conductor, and that a resin member is arranged on the substrate in connection with the collector and the conductor, the resin member being made substantially flush with the collector and the conductor, wherein the second contact is slid on the resin member.

Throttle valve opening sensor

In a throttle valve opening sensor including a substrate provided with a throttle valve opening detecting portion, a rotor adapted to be rotated in association with rotation of a throttle valve, a housing for rotatably supporting the rotor and incorporating the substrate, a packing mounted in the housing for sealing the substrate, and a contact mounted on the rotor and adapted to slide on the opening detecting portion; the improvement comprises a substrate pressing portion formed at the packing for inwardly pressing the substrate, an O-ring projecting portion formed at the packing on the outer peripheral side of the substrate pressing portion and tightly contacting with the housing, and a cover provided outside the packing for inwardly pressing the substrate pressing portion and the projecting portion of the packing.

A throttle valve opening sensor for detecting an opening and a specific opening of a throttle valve, comprising a substrate having a partially sectoral printed pattern formed by an opening detecting portion and a specific opening detecting portion for the throttle valve, a rotor adapted to be rotated in association with rotation of the throttle valve, a housing for rotatably supporting the rotor and having a substrate receiving hole for receiving the substrate, a packing installed in the housing for sealing the substrate, a cover mounted on the outside of the packing for fixing the substrate through the packing to the housing, first and second contacts mounted on the rotor and adapted to slide on the opening detecting portion and the specific opening detecting portion, a plurality of terminals installed in the housing and connected to lead wires for power supply and signal output, and a plurality of conductive elastic members for electrically connecting the terminals to the opening detecting portion and the specific opening detecting portion and biasing the substrate against an inner peripheral point of the substrate receiving hole on the opposite side of the terminals, wherein the center of the printed pattern is positioned on the basis of the inner peripheral point so as to coincide with the center of rotation of the rotor.

In the first embodiment of the present invention, the armature of the motor is rotatably fitted through the bearings provided at both ends of its rotary shaft. A rotor is rotatably mounted through a fixed shaft arranged differently from the rotary shaft to form a pump means. The rotary shaft and the rotor are connected by a connector means in such a manner that the radial displacement of both axes of the rotary shaft and the rotor can be absorbed by the connector. In the second embodiment of the present invention, a pump housing of a pump means is adapted partly to serve as a part of the casing of the electrically powered pump. An inlet of the pumped liquid is formed in the pump housing and a union is integrally formed with the casing. In the third embodiment of the present invention, the armature of the motor is rotatably fitted through the bearings provided at both ends of its rotary shaft. At least two stages of impellers are rotatably mounted to the fixed shaft arranged in axially alignment with the rotary shaft to form a pump means. The rotary shaft and the impellers are connected by a connector means in such a manner that the relative motion in a circumferential direction of the rotary shaft and the impellers is restricted.

There is provided an air-fuel mixture ratio correcting system for a carburetor in which the air-fuel ratio of a mixture fed to an engine is detected whereby to control the amount of auxiliary fuel and/or the amount of auxiliary air to always control the air-fuel ratio of the mixtures at the correct value.

Air-fuel mixture ratio correcting system for carburetor

A carburetor for supplying the mixture of optimum air-fuel ratio to the engine at all times under any accelerating condition. The carburetor comprises a fuel adding valve and associated valve mechanism whereby when the vacuum pressure in the suction pipe decreases as a result of acceleration, the fuel adding valve is opened to deliver extra fuel in addition to the main fuel to produce the mixture of optimum richness. With this invention, the conventional drawback can be precluded that after the first stage of acceleration the mixture becomes leaner than is required.
