An electric compressor includes a compression portion, an electric motor, a drive circuit that has a circuit board on which electronic components are mounted, a housing, and a resin member. At least one of the electronic components is held by the resin member with the resin member sandwiched between the at least one of the electronic component and the circuit board. The electronic compressor includes a first metal member that is in contact with the at least one of the electronic components, and thermally connected to the housing, a second metal member that is disposed in the resin member, and a bolt by which the first metal member and the second metal member are fastened with each other.

Electric compressor

An electric compressor includes a compression part, an electric motor, an inverter device, and a housing. The inverter device includes an inverter circuit, a noise reduction unit, and a circuit board. The noise reduction unit includes a common mode choke coil and a smoothing capacitor. The common mode choke coil includes an annular core, a pair of winding wires, and an annular electrical conductor. The electrical conductor is split into a first metal plate and a second metal plate in a circumferential direction. The first metal plate is thermally coupled to the housing. The second metal plate is electrically connected to the first metal plate. An electrical resistance value of the first metal plate is larger than that of the second metal plate.

A metal film includes portions that are opposed to each other and located away from each other between the first winding and the second winding. The metal film includes the first linear part that is thermally coupled to a housing. The average value of electric resistance per unit length in the peripheral direction of the first linear part of the metal film is greater than an average value of electric resistance per unit length of locations other than the first linear part.

Motor-driven compressor

The occupant protection system includes a catching body that is housed in a housing located between a near-by seat and a distant seat for upward deployment and a support body that supports the catching body. The catching body covers the impact side of a distant-side occupant to catch the occupant moving toward the impacted lateral and includes a distal end acting as a free end swingable in a left and right direction. The support body is located on a side of the near-by seat close to the impacted lateral for deployment to support the catching body when the catching body swings toward the impacted lateral after receiving the distant-side occupant.

Occupant protection system

In a leather-wound steering wheel, coating layers of synthetic resin are provided in the neighbor of a core of a ring portion which is gripped for steering. The coating layers are provided with fitting grooves provided along the sectional circumference of the ring portion. Pieces of leather covering the coating layers respectively are disposed so that their terminals provided along the sectional circumference of the ring portion are fitted into the fitting grooves in the ring portion core. Reduced portions each having a sectional outer circumference reduced toward the sectional center from general portions of the ring portion core are disposed in the regions of arrangement of the fitting grooves in the ring portion core so that the fitting grooves can be made deeper. Thus, there is provided a leather-wound steering wheel in which fitting grooves for leather terminals in a coating layer can be made deeper.
