An aspect of the present invention relates to an air conditioner which is provided with a structural body, a wind direction plate, and auxiliary housings. The structural body forms an air outlet that extends in a horizontal direction and blows out a cool or warm airflow which is generated by a heat exchanger on a downward-facing surface which is continuous downward from a front surface, and includes one pair of wall bodies which are fixed to be immovable with respect to the air outlet on both sides of the first air outlet. The wind direction plate is disposed in the air outlet and is supported by the structural body to be freely rotatable around a horizontal shaft line. The auxiliary housings are attached to an outer wall surface of the wall body to be freely rotatable around a horizontal shaft on both sides of the air outlet, and form an auxiliary air outlet which blows out taken-in indoor air. Furthermore, a distance L1 from an imaginary shaft line to the auxiliary air outlet is set to be longer than a distance L3 from the imaginary shaft line to the air outlet of the structural body.

A first fan controlling section of a controller circuit is configured to control a first blower fan so as to induce the discharge of the airflow of a cool air through a first air outlet defined in a first enclosure of an indoor unit of the air conditioner. A second fan controlling section is configured to control second blower fans so as to induce the discharge of the airflows of a room air through second air outlets, respectively, defined in a pair of second enclosures disposed on the opposite sides of the first enclosure. An enclosure attitude controlling section is configured to change the respective attitude of the second enclosures relative to the first enclosure.

Controller circuit for air conditioner with cool air guided with room temperature airstream

An air conditioner includes a main unit having an enclosure defining an air outlet. The enclosure contains a heat exchanger generating a cool air or a warm air forming airflow running out of the air outlet. A pair of fan units are disposed on the opposite sides of the air outlet. The fan units are configured to suck a room air and to blow the room air. The airflow of the room air can be utilized to control the direction and/or movement of the airflow of the cool air or the warm air. The cool air or the warm air can be conveyed to desired locations.

An air conditioner includes a main unit having an enclosure defining an air outlet. The enclosure contains a heat exchanger generating a cool air or a warm air forming airflow running out of the air outlet. A pair of fan units are disposed on the opposite sides of the air outlet. The fan units are configured to suck a room air and to blow the room air. The heat exchanger includes a rear section having a length larger than that of a front section in the longitudinal direction of the air outlet. The rear section extends into at least one of spaces respectively defined behind the fan units.

Air conditioner

A chill blow-off port is provided on a front surface side within a refrigerating compartment, and a chill return port is provided on a back wall of the refrigerating compartment, so that a chill generated by a heat exchanger flows from the front surface side within the refrigerating compartment toward the rear in the depth. Thereby, temperature unevenness within the refrigerating compartment is effectively eliminated and a cooling rate of a preserved food is enhanced.
